No Zouma in midfield? Wow.

Ivanovic starts after his disastrous performance last week and virtually no change to the team that faced arsenal in the Comm shield. The midfield of ramires and Matic looks unbalanced and will likely be dominated again. If oscar id match fit, he should be starting. atleast it looks like an attacking team let's see how the team sets up come kick off.

Could it be that Ramires is playing on the right wing, Willian on the 10 and Cesc in the pivot? Probably not but a man can hope. Ramires would help cover Iva's side and I like Willian on the ten. Not sure how I feel about Cesc on the pivot against City though

Don't know why people are surprised about Moses. Yeah, he was our best player in pre-season and Cuadrado has been awful but yet it again it was pre-season. Lukaku was our best player in pre-season for what 2 seasons running and still could not get a start over Torres. I am hoping it is more of a 4-3-3 set up and Fabregas drops deeper. I am positve now I have seen the teams. Especially if we are wise on the counter.

Predictable line up, called by everyone from the 1st post. Let's see if our approach is any different to last season, I expect us to surrender posession and have barely any shot on target. If they score 1st early it is game over before it even begins.

Shocking line-ups.

Don't know what to expect. Can only hope for the best.

I hope Hazard wakes up from his siesta.

Shocking? we dont have anyone to replace Ivanovic and Oscar is injured, so whats so shockingly wrong in our line up?

So the "awful cuadrado" is a better option to have on the bench than Moses?

Tbh, we don't really have an alternative. I wouldn't play Zouma RB, we don't actually have an alternative for fullback because we sold/loaned our other full backs before even getting another one in.

The team unfortunately picks itself today.

Sarcasm. Notice how I said line-ups.

My dog could've predicted these line-ups (I don't own a dog).

Let's hope ramires finally has a good game in a big match, he's long overdue one good performance.

I'm not expecting anything from fabregas, fernadinho will chase him down and he won't be able to hold his ball under pressure.

Hopefully hazard is fit, and ready to dribble and put some energy into the game so that we can do something in attack.

I'm hoping Mourinho tactically prepared us to counter, instead of just only sitting back. Avoid fernadinho fouls to stop our counters and we'll be able to do something in attack.
