Think Turan would be a decent signing. The main problem here is...29m for a 29-year-old?! WTF! It's like we're heading back to the time when we spend unwisely on transfers. :rant::doh:

(assuming the transfer fee mentioned is even right in the first place)

Age is not problem!

Mikel is slightly younger than Turan. Do you think we should keep third-class Mikel rather than invite top-class Turan?

yes, because Mikel know how to do his job, defend, defend and defend, we have Oscar, who is better than Turan, we need RW!

Erm Turan mostly play on the wings for Atletico during the last 4 years just in case you didn't know...Also he is MUCH BETTER than Oscar currently, he is virtually undroppable in a top Atletico team compared with Oscar who is not good enough to be starting for us in the majority of the big games.

Just because he is from Turkey and not English/German/Brazilian or whatever doesn't mean he isn't that good, he is imo top 10 players in Europe skill wise and someone who actually do them quite consistently compared with others like Hulk or whatever fancy wingers that do them once in 10 matches and keep being refered as 'skillful'.

Actually, he pretty much is their Oscar, in some way, i mean. If you see his stats, since Simenone is the manager, well, he's more like the twelve player(especially in the best Atletico de Madrid season{2013-14}) ; he barely completes a match.

Totally absurd, he has a coveted spot here, and is the Mourinho type of guy.

No reason to be sure that Chelsea wanted him at all. I didnt see any reliable sources that said it.

So according to them its a done deal for a week.

and according to his agent he has never spoken to Barca and it was all made up newspaper stories. lol
