We don't want to lose by not being fast enough covering the back when they're on the break. Their depleted defence should mean we don't need to be as strong going forward. Pick your battles. Drogba is the only fit striker and it would be too much to start Solanke over DD here. My only question is why Oscar over Willian? But hopefully he could suprise us with his crosses to DD. But I guess we'll see what Jose has in mind in about 15 minutes.Probably because of his aerial abilities, Mikel has not played a match in 2 months and playing Ramires would mean that Matic has to deal with Fellaini, leaving a gap in midfield since Ramires's positional awareness isn't superb.
