Fitness-wise he looked amazing. Didn't checked stats but for me he made the most amount of sprints in the game, he was eager to run forward at every break. And he made his fitness at Chelsea pre-season. Even Moses, another who made pre-season with Chelsea, looked very energetic with West Ham shirt on.

Just shows the problem in our boys is not in legs, certainly, but in their heads. THIS is the level of fitness they are at and what was aiming for, just needs to unlock this.

Tactically he was the most important player on the pitch. He was the focus point of Juve's counter attacks because of his ability to get early crosses in. He was responsible for most of Juve's dangerous attacks and should have had an assist in the first half had Morata not gotten needlessly involved from an offside position.

Have to disagree on this one.

Different players come from vacation at completely different levels of fitness.

Highly dependent on age, build, and what they did or did not do away from the monitoring of the club.

Juan is the wrong player for the Epl - Moses is stronger than him and imo a better option for the Epl. Neither really great but Moses can bring more coming off the bench.

Too bad if true. I still think he could been very useful for the team after the loan. Waste of money as well.

I hope this means another player will join, a good player. I really don't like the current four players for three positions situation. Kenedy and Traore are fillers, they aren't real options.

Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport have again stated Chelsea have a verbal agreement with Juventus over the permanent transfer of Juan Cuadrado. The Colombian international moved to Juventus on loan during the summer transfer window, after his winter move from Fiorentina hadn't worked out.

Cuadrado had been much wanted whilst with the Florence club and Juventus were just one of the sides linked. However, Juventus and Fiorentina have a troubled history with transfers and that was always likely to be a difficult move. Cuadrado ended up at Chelsea but Jose Mourinho soon lost patience.

Gazzetta dello Sport say Chelsea and Juventus have come to an agreement over a €22m transfer, to be completed as soon as January. But they also say further 'important meetings' are to be held, after the matter was brought to the attention of Roman Abramovich.

Cuadrado has become so important to Juventus since his loan move that Chelsea may well feel they can get more than €22m, which would suggest Gazzetta dello Sport may have jumped the gun on this.
