Who here would reject the idea of replacing him in the squad with one of our youth players (Musonda or Boga). It's a genuine question.

He is so useless now, not saying that he's bad player though, I remember his last game in Fiorentina shirt against Roma and he was flying in a free role, but he hugely relies on confidence and very much doubt that he regains his confidence with limited playing time and growing frustration.

I remember when people said Douglas Costa wasn't good enough for us, he would've been cheaper, wanted a move to CFC and is one of Bayern's best players in pre season atm.

Having two tactically-sound fullbacks (Lahm & Alaba) that are able to defend and contribute to the attack is a massive advantage for the attacking midfielders at any club.

At Chelsea, we have a RB that likes getting forward but he's often caught out of position and a LB that is amazing defensively but almost useless in an attacking sense

I know it's only pre-season, but Christ. I've never felt so hopeless with regards to a player, and I've seen Winston Bogarde play football. Yes, seriously.

Even with Torres, he'd do something special that empowered you with confidence.

With Cuadrado, if he stays on his feet after a tackle it's a small victory. He needs to up his game considerably, because I've never before been at a stage where I've been willing to write off a player's career at this club after just six months.

True. I don't expect Azpi to leave LB during this Jose era. We should buy an RB because defending like a CB at RB doesn't always work.

Don't know who, though. Bellerin would be good, (retty sure he is an RB) and make up for the fact Cech went to Arsenal a bit.
