Styles 9,790
Different clubs have different rules on squad numbers that is simple I was explaining the difference in Serie A and PL if you can't see that then you really are just a wind up merchantI really struggle sometimes with figuring out whether Term-X is the greatest troll in TalkChelsea history or if he's just being plain ridiculous. Vybz Kartel 1,613
Can see us shipping him out in a season or 2 just hope we can recoup as much as possible because IMO this guy is average and not a upgrade on Schurrle or even De Bruyne who we sold last year

CHOULO19 24,332
74 is stupid, but you can't blame him if the club allows it.More importantly, congrats and best of luck to him. Hope he can find the consistency that Schurrle could not and that can cement him in the first team.

Steve 10,227
So I was speaking to a close friend who is a Fiorentina supporter and he said we have a real gem on our hands but don't get too excited about his shooting, as it is one of the worst in the Serie A in terms of percentage per shots on goal. That said, he is a real work horse and will always track back and defend, exactly what Jose likes in a player!

Term-X 7,891
It isn't based on facts it's based on you presuming there is a set of social rules that apply to players concerning their squad number. You haven't produced any shred of evidence outside of your anecdotes. There is clearly a system clubs in English football and beyond use, it's just a case of connecting the dots. Oh, and don't get hung up on semantics.

CHOULO19 24,332
I don't mind it, but actually we have decent numbers available like 14,15,17 and 9It annoys me because it promotes the advertisement of players over the whole club and individualism over team spirit. Because it should be "just a number" it annoys me that the club allows players to pick such unconventional numbers that allows them to stick out.Another effect of football turning into a money oriented business....but that does not hang on this case so it's not that important. Was just making an observation about the principle.

Yes he is.Well, he hasn't yet "played" technically. He would be if/when he does play for us. However he is NOT the first Colombian player to ever sign for Chelsea as that would be the currently on loan Joao Rodriguez.
