Glad this game didn't turn out like last year, when we had like 30 shots but no goals. The difference was Costa... assist and a goal from position from which we wouldn't even have had a shot on goal last season.In this fixture last year we barely created any clear cut chances - I only remember the Lampard one right at the the end (which he'd have scored from 9/10 times, sigh). Most of the attempts were just annoying pot shots whereas today we created enough good chances to have scored at least 3-4. A huge improvement indeed. We dominated them for most of the game, we were solid defensively and the fluidity in our attack was brilliant. This is the kind of football I want us to play away and against bigger sides.
