Holly molly,

With Big Pete our Goalkeeper coach Lollichon is leaving as well, and just like Pete he is going to arsenal too. Hate this. Hopefully we will bring Ox or Sanchez in opposite direction.

The closer this move gets to completion the tougher it is to swallow. Not that I'm mad at Petr Cech, he is an absolutely amazing goalkeeper and deserves to be the number 1 at a top European club. I guess just for selfish reasons I want him to go abroad so he isn't a title rival. I feel somewhat similar to when we sold Mata to Man Utd, and since then I've still enjoyed watching the little magician play for them (crazy I know), I think it will be something similar for Cech, he seems a top lad and a great professional. We made our choice that Tibo was the man for us for the now and the future and we knew Petr's days were numbered. Cech has been brilliant this season not only in his limited performances but how he's handled himself. So yeah, for selfish reasons this is a tough one to face, he is a legend at this club, completely amazing in our champions league victory and I for one wish him the very best of luck...but not too much haha!

I'm not saying that was a wrong decision, it was clearly the right one, but from Petr's point of view that was basically the club telling him he is no longer needed and should leave.

The fact that Mourinho has chosen Courtois does not mean that he wanted Cech to leave. From the club's point of view would have been better to keep them both. Cech saved us several times this season, Mou said it: "we are fortunate to have two of the best goalkeepers in the world". But for the sake of Cech have decided let it go rather than force him to fulfill his contract. With this move the club has lost a top goalkeeper and also reinforced a direct rival. If was not a legend, the club probably would not have agreed to this.

Pretty infuriating that the club will go against José and allow him to go there.

I'd rather him go literally ANYWHERE other than that fucking filthy club. Does our board/owner not know that we'd be giving a direct (perhaps our biggest) rival for the title next season a huge boost? Fucking hell.

They are not our biggest title rivals. City and United will pose a bigger threat.

Lollichon was always a personal coach of Cech rather than Chelsea's GK coach. I am sure Silvino Louro will be back to his GK coach duties if Lollichon leaves.

I still expect United to be pretty inconsistent. They'll once again have a huge number of new players, a new keeper, and many extra matches to play compared to last season. They'll improve, sure, but they won't be legitimate title challengers just yet in my opinion.

Arsenal are the most settled and best coached side after ourselves. They add Cech and a top class CM and they have a wonderful squad unfortunately. Arsenal are famously the ultimate flat track bullies and will blow away the small teams like they always do and they're now starting to figure out how not to be naive against the big boys.

I'm in 2 minds about big Pete. I remember when he took over from Cudi when he had been our loyal keeper. Pete didn't umm and arr about jumping in his shoes. I know hes a great keeper but why should he get preferential treatment and not fight for his spot on the team like everyone else? The only thing I can think its his ego thats bruised.

He actually played more last year than I thought he would. I dont know why he doesnt goto the club and lay his cards on the table. Summet like ' Look i like playing here but I'd like more playing time. I played 16 games last season but if I could play 'x' more I'd be happy to stay and fight for my place like every other position has to''

I know I was naive before but since Lamps went to Citeh it made me realize players just see the club as any other large company and its just us nutters with any love and loyalty to one club so I realize a player doesnt owe us anything but on the other hand WTF SHOULD we make it any bloody easier for them to leave us - specially to a team already on our arses.

We got no time for bloody sentiment this is war and its Arsenal ffs.
