Lol NO pre-season game is the stage, my friend. And certainly not against a team most of us have never heard of before.

it would have been their must match ever. in a game which DEFINED us last season. all possession, no cutting edge and then the other team scoring. we could have seen what realy good attacking players can do and how much of a change they can make. that was the STAGE!!! get it??

Man... Zouma looks so uncomfortable and clumsy. His passing and ball at his feet looks borderline amateur.

Salah looks midtable/championship worthy, certainly not looking Chelsea quality.

Not a fan of Swift and I'm not judging from this game, he just doesn't do anything on the ball.

Bamford looks like he's a player!

Boga needs a lot more opportunities, I know he's 17 but an aggressive loan is in order here.

Van Ginkel is looking every bit like a nice box to box midfielder.

Jury is out on what I think of Luis.

Zouma had a solid first half but was a bit iffy in the second. Not as disappointing as Salah though, who messed up a lot of final balls and just looked very erratic.

Not concerned about Zouma one bit, but Salah does need to step it up for his own sake. He's much better than what he's shown so far. Pre season is his chance to really put up an impression because the other guys are away but he's not done well so far.

-Boga scored a beautifull goal

-Luis debuted and Cech returned :yay:

Salah looks awesome at times when he's running at ridiculous pace but when he has to make that final decision he crumbles. You can tell that he's a total confidence player and he doesn't appear to have much currently.

Not feeling Salah, he looks like all he has is pace doesn't really strike me as someone who can play a lot of games for us. From what I've seen so far I would've rather we signed Markovic and allowed Liverpool to grab Salah, he is just not looking very impressive at all.

That's overly harsh. He actually played some nice balls in the first half but in the second everyone seemed a little knackered which isn't all that surprising.

He still needs to work on some of his positioning but that will come in time. He's a prospect for sure though.

How was Luis?

1. No, the world cup players(Cahill, Torres, Azpi, Cesc and Costa) were not even on the bench.

2. He was a little nervous but nothing special. RZ didn't really try to attack on the right wing so it was a quiet night for him.
