It's just ridicules that we will accept a much lower offer from Atletico and over pay on Lukaku.

The commentators here were saying that Costa and Conte had some beef because Costa wanted to play vs Liverpool and Conte said no because he hadn't trained all week. 

Hopefully it's nothing serious, and Lord help us if we seriously think Lukaku should be Costa's replacement. Batsman would replace Lukaku by season's end, no doubt.

We can ill afford to lose a striker of Costa's calibre at the moment.

We'd have next to no depth but atleast it's better then splashing 60 million on Lukaku.

Would be a good option but Lyon seem desperate to keep him.

Am I the only one who's not really fussed whether he leaves or not? I'm not really keen about Lukaku but in a two-striker system Costa is easily replacable.

On either account, if Conte is planning on playing Hazard as the second striker (which I think is very logical) then I would rather have the main striker be someone with good technical ability to be able to like with Eden.

I am only fussed because we have a history of terrible decisions selling decent players and being left over with shit. I don't trust the board to get a decent replacement.
