I don't even see what was wrong with what he did. Both players were pushing and shoving one another and if anything, he just went in with a tad more force than Sigurdsson. Besides, great to see our new striker showing aggression and telling opposition players he isn't afraid of them. Haven't had that in years and certainly better than previous Spanish striker we had.

I thought he was better too personally (not much in it) but they were both excellent and a great pairing.

There's this brilliant clip on youtube which shows just why Carvalho was important for JT.

both - JT and Cesc - are quicker than me... I'm not qualified to answer (I still believe he isn't as slow as you think)

I think Carvalho is one of the best defenders I've seen playing.
