We talk about how Didier was a 'Big game player', well.. this concerns me:

0 goals against Barça in two league games.

0 goals against Barça in the Champions League quarterfinals.

0 goals against Barça in the Supercopa (two legs).

It would have been kinda hard for him to score against Barca in the CL quarterfinals, seeing as he didn't play. :carlo:

I think knowing how many missed chances he had in those games would be helpful. These kinds of stats might not tell the full story. If he had a lot of chances and missed them all bar 1, then it might mean something. I remember only the last game in La Liga against Barcelona and he got injured within the first 15 minutes and got subbed.

Wow that's racist and off topic.

I hope Costa can play well for us I'm mostly concerned about him being able to hold up the ball and I feel like we need a forward to be do that for us.

He won't score more than 20 goals in the Premier League next season. That WILL be proven as a fact soon enough.

I'll take 20.. 20 goals from a single striker would've won us the league last season lol!

Copied and pasted the stats from a la liga fan, one error.. still concerning.

He "didn't play" also the last game in La Liga against Barcelona. He was substituted in the minute 16 with an injury.

And he didn't play the 2nd leg of Madrid Atletico in the cup. Atletico lost 3-0 the first leg and rested their players, Costa was already at that moment with some porblems.

Anyway Atletico can't score more than 1 or 2 goals per game against Madrid and Barcelona...
