Obviously there could be many many other things, like personal dissagreements with Conte or his desire to return to Atletico which Im sure Conte is not fond of. But the way we are dealing with this situation is beyond embarrassing. Like I said, its allright if Costa leaves for various reasons, but this shouldnt be brought to media by Conte and Costa. Bottom line, shit attitude or not, commited or not, he has been next to Eden the KEY player for two PL titles. If things go south with next striker, I will be seriously pissed at Chelsea for making Costa as easily replacable as this, because he is still best striker we had since Drogba. The last thing I want is getting a nice striker who will bang 30 goals per season and turn into hiding in every bigger game like Higuain, because in such case I prefer a loose cannon like Diego. You've got to be kidding me. Embarrassing? You know what's really embarrassing? You're basically okay with Diego holding the club at ransom... he clearly doesn't want to be here, why do you continue to defend him like this? FYI, Diego hasn't been that good in big games since 14/15. Stop acting like he's amazing in them. oldportblue

How can we keep it on the low when Costa is the one that's going out there saying these things? It's not Chelsea, it's not Conte, not emenalo or Roman or whoever you fancy coming out with this stuff. Again, why are you defending Costa so much? The only person that's been whoring himself about is Diego. The club don't control his mouth. How you can blame the club instead of Diego is incredible to me. EMK, mashimaru161 and oldportblue
Popular Post! Strike 7,487 Posted June 8, 2017 Popular Post! Share Posted June 8, 2017 Even the end had to be suitably dramatic for Diego Costa. He was a good #9, a terrific fighter but far from irreplaceable. Another typically cold decision from Conte. Adnane 1,101
That's ridiculous. Costa wanted to leave not once but TWICE in the last 12 months, Conte probably took the decision during January to let him leave at the end of the season ( I'd be pretty surprised if Costa didn't hear anything from the manager nor club before this presumed Text message people are crying about ). What Costa is doing is just playing victim in order for him to be easier to choose his next club, Chelsea wanting to sell means we have less negotiating power and if anything, this fucker just went in front of all the Spanish Journalists and sait it out loud. What kind of players goes to the media and says "heck my club wants to sell me I'm on the market" ? Probably only Costa. He can fuck right off. El P. 1,354
This is priceless. Bravo Antonio! You can all thank to Diego Costa for talking to media, it's not Antonio's fault. A lot of payers get this kind of messages (be it via SMS or MMS, you need to get that info sooner rather than later, and we even don't know the full story), but only Costa did what he did. Why? Because he is Costa. Not ours, soon. It's not really important who will come in, Lukaku, Morata,... someone decent surely will - CHELSEA JUST SHOWN WHY WE ARE A BIG CLUB, CLUB THAT WILL NEVER BE SOMEONE'S BITCH! Jase 43,479
Adrian Clarke might have a point here... http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/620869/Diego-Costa-Chelsea-transfer-news-exit-claim-Antonio-Conte-Adrian-Clarke "Costa's made this up, 100 per cent he's made it up," Clarke said on talkSPORT. "Why would a manager text someone 'you're not in my plans'? I'm not having it, why would a manager do that? You would at least phone them up. "I just don't buy that that would happen. I'm saying Costa wants to leave and he is just trying to accelerate the process, manufacture, accelerate, however way you want to say it. "The problem for him is Atletico Madrid are not allowed to sign players and he wants to go to Atletico Madrid. "He wants to now let everyone else know 'I'm available, I want to go'." Heisenberg 1,824
11 hours ago, Essien19 said: Costa: 'My relationship with the coach has been bad this season.' My take on this is that according to Costa they didn't get along since the first minute, not much to do with january. Personally i think this narrative that Costa had been so poor in the second half of the season seems a bit too stretched. The numbers in goals regressed, but overall he was the focal point and allowing others to do their thing. Reminds me of how Big Benz is about business. Matic had some great games too, i wouldn't call his overall impact as you've mentioned: 'proper shitty job'. If you look long enough, you can find a stick with whom you can beat anyone, meaning: not long ago Terry went to the media and started a public outcry of why he didn't get a new contract. I respect John Terry and what he's done for club and country, but when it fits his case, he'll do anything, similar to Costa. This time around it was best for him to keep his mouth shut -he's finished, so he happily played along. For Conte it could've been over for a long time, but if you part ways, it should be done in person. You can spin it how you want, text massage is highly unprofessionell and that's lacking courage and balls for me. I appreciate how Conte acts like a hard man on the sidelines, but you've gotta live up to it behind closed doors. What i agree with you on is that's a two way street. The inside knowledge is limited, most of us -me included don't know the full story yet. It's speculation, but because i think Costa speaks from heart and doesn't come across as someone who knows how to play his cards, someone like Fabregas, so far i'm valueing his words higher. Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk Allowing others to do which thing ? As far as I remember, he was mainly destroying others initiatives to do something, Costa lost the least amount of technique he had when he first came, at one point this season, he was truely embarrassing but Conte had no other options. Matic had some great games, and was for the major part of the season, observing how others will actually score past us, defensively he was very poor, I dont have stats or so to help my argument, but If you watched all the games, it doesnt take an incredible amount of football geniuses to identify how useless he was on the back, especially when you see how helpful Kante was to our defence, there is such a glaring lack of interest in actually do some proper defending from the serbian, he did a good covering space but thats it, he was our worst player this season and fairly deserved the bench, Fabregas got 11 assist while barely playing full 90 min, and for me, its enough to actually be the starter. I believe Conte doesnt act, I think he is as hard with himself as with everyone, but again, I'm assuming.
