Lukaku and Belgium struggled against Greece and only got that equalizer because Greece were sent down to 10 men. Apart from that he did not make an impact. Tight games you need this type of players, it is why we get bail out by defenders a lot of times because that's one of their specialty. Wouldn't it be good to have that option from the bench in a striker? Weather is for headers or just a poacher? I remember chicharito was a great poacher. Not a player you build your team around but great to have on the bench and come for games like this. I see that in morata. I was re-watching some of our older matches the other week and I can't stress enough how useful it is to have a player that's willing to come off the bench and save or win you points. Honestly thought Traore was going to be our next version of Kalou but Abraham probably has a better chance next season. I don't see Bats staying... Apart from his injuries, he was heavily rotated by Claudio in his first season but he generally did well when he was used. In Mourinho's 2nd season he was superb in some games( the Liverpool game comes to mind where he got a beauty incorrectly chalked off) but again was good in the majority of games he was used in. We won the Premier League with him contributing equally with Drog goals-wise, no way he was a terrible purchase. Leif
BoyBlue96 990
People refuse to see that he has completely dropped Chelsea and Conte. Doesn't give a fuck anymore. If only he had the same mentality like for example Luiz. Cunt.

Unionjack 7,531
You should hear what my father in law says about the players when they dont do owt or fuck up. And hes supported us home and away since the 50s and aint nobody going to tell me hes not a real Chelsea supporter. He just doesn't pat them on the back saying oh well. I've always loved Diego ever since he joined us and Ive always had his back and found excuses to what his problem was. But gotta say hes making it hard for me to come up with any more. Theres many reasons that it COULD BE hes not firing on all cylinders and I'm sure we can all make a long list but IF even 1/2 the reason is hes had his head turned by another club I wish he would just get his head back to the Diego before Xmas and the lads give him some sort of crisis intervention!! mccg

Agreed its been a rough couple of months for him, the Jan transfer window must have messed with his head more than any of us know. I think the CP loss will snap him back and he will finish up strong. Positive thoughts!
Beigl 1,387
His link up play was absolutely atrocious again. He didn´t even win a single header today, which would have been vital in the last 20 minutes. I really miss the times with Didier upfront, who was a master at laying off the ball for our players. Diego can be glad that he doesn´t have any competition for his place in the starting XI, otherwise he would have been benched a long time ago. kellzfresh

The whole game he was playing carefree, the fact that he knows that he'll start the next game however he plays in real time is the one thing that really boils blood. I can't wait till his self-entitled ass f*cks off. Conte should freaking stop pampering to him, starting him unconditionally game after game.
