Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
Not fit to lace the boots of Aguëro. Simple as goals aside the Argentine simply plays the game better.Embarrassed himself out there today. iseah100
lionsden 4,689
I have always maintained that this guy is a terrible footballer (good finisher but terrible with the ball at his feet) Even back when he was banging in the goals last season, I remained unconvinced about his overall game and was lambasted for it. and now that the goals have dried up what we are left with is all the negatives without any redeeming features. Other top teams in Europe all have main strikers who are capable footballers who you can have total confidence in whenever they are on the ball i,e players like aguero, Suarez, benzema, tevez, Rooney and so on. I know I can't be the only one that usually expects him to lose the ball when in possession and 8 out of 10 times, that's what usually happens. yuvala 2,167
No one ever said he was on par with Aguero or Suarez. He is who he is - a pssionate, powerful striker with good finishing. Never as talented as the formers. He was brilliant for us last season and I want to believe he'll prove worthy this season aswell.
123-blue 19
Had a stinker. Not sure if just not fit or not as capable as before with all the injuries he has been racking up taking their toll?

Tomo 21,751
Remy is better than Costa.Remys a good back up option but his movement and decision making is too erratic to be #1, Costa isn't the most fashionable footballer to ever live, but he's a bloody good striker, honestly putting everything into perspective I will only swap Diego for two strikers and that's Suarez and Aguero. yuvala and The Skipper

Popular Post! WNDS 502 Posted August 16, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted August 16, 2015 He has a point...As much as people like to bang on about his 'passion', 'drive', and 'will to win', these things count for very little if they are not expressed in a controlled and constructive manner on the pitch. Costa's aggression frequently appears to cause him to lose all focus on what actually matters during a game, and this can end up affecting the other players as well.An example of this would be PSG at home last season. With a man advantage, we needed to be focused and to control the tempo of the game; instead, Costa spent the game picking fights and responding to PSG provocation, with the situation becoming so heated that eventually the entire Chelsea team was getting involved in the brawling at the expense of managing the game properly. didi007, DYC., Peace. and 3 others
Popular Post! Magic Lamps 11,692 Posted August 16, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted August 16, 2015 Was not that bad even though clearly lacking sharpness. The way he assisted hazards glorious chance was brilliant movement. Also he got 3 city players booked which under a competent referee might have led to a sending off.
