MrExcalibur100 7,124
2 goals + a missed empty goal. Normally, that will be a good day at the office for a striker. But when you consider his lack of a football brain and how many times he loses possession in the final 3rd, how many times he misplaces passes and how many times he completely loses control, (which had a negative impact on the team), he's still a liability. He already has 3 bookings already Give Batshuayi 90 mins. Let's see what he can do. Next season, get rid. Afterall, he's not Suarez, Aguero, Lewandowski or even Higuain or Benzema. Bring in Morata. If you can't control yourself and behave like a normal human being, Just go back to Atletico. Johnnyeye

His movement throughout the game was excellent. Best player on the pitch and you're calling him a liability? Nonsense. The Skipper, Johnnyeye, Barbara and 1 other
Popular Post! BlueSunshine 672 Posted September 11, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted September 11, 2016 Reading some posts in the match thread blaming him for the score tonight just makes me laugh. Yes, he missed some chances and lost the ball countless times, so what? He scored two very nice goals and got half of the Swansea's defence booked. At the same time, Hazard missed one of the easiest chances of his career, Oscar and Wllian did fuck all in attack, our defence was crap as usual and Curtois clearly cares only what to say in the interviews while he makes one mistake after another. Not to mention Conte who has to wait till the 80th minute to make a bloody change. Noone is saying that this guy is the best striker around, and he sure is frustrating as hell, but blaming him for every little thing is just ridiculous. Him and Kante were the best players tonight. Jase 43,479
4 goals in 4 games. Good start to the season. But on the flip side, he already has 3 yellow cards and we're only 4 games into the season! King11Didier and Johnnyeye
Stingray 9,441
He should really stop making every game into a war scenario. It tends to make the opposition more motivated as our own squad. #morefightersontheotherside Verzonden vanaf mijn iPad met Tapatalk Johnnyeye
Johnnyeye 7,508
He´s a mistery to me, on his day he can bully any defence and score goals, its great he has 4 goals in 4 games, exactly what you expect from your front man, but his attitude lets him down more often than not, already 3 yellow cards in 4 games and other team players will always try to wind him up and get him sent off,  that´s something he will face every game and he takes the bait when he shouldn´t, and he should avoid complaining a lot to the referees, because it gives them the motivation to card Costa. We all love to hate him or else he wouldn´t be Costa, but only if he could focus on his game and not picking fights he would be even more class. Cheers
Mufassir08 2,400
The thing about Costa is that he has fantastic movement and he scores goals but his general play is below par. I think a lot of the times, we struggle to create chances because of Costa's poor first touch and lack of awareness very negatively affects our build up play. You often see Willian or Eden trying to play quick 1-2's with Costa but they never come off. A counter-attacking set-up is the one in which Costa will absolutely kill it but our possession based play does get negatively affected because of Costa's gameplay. That said, after suffering through the whole Torres saga, it's just nice to have a striker who you know will get you the goals so love you Diego.
