iseah100 5,612
Its clear Curtois will be playing for Atletico next season. How is that clear?
kellzfresh 7,229
Cadena Cope (Spanish radio)02Diego Costa has rejected a new contract from Atletico that would have seen his salary doubled and his release clause increased. He will go to Chelsea.02Diego Costa rechaza la oferta de renovaci¨®n del Atl¨¦tico y se ir¨¢ al Chelsea02And Courtois will be at Chelsea next season.02Courtois jugar¨¢ la pr¨®xima temporada en el Chelsea, seg¨²n adelant¨® Manolo LamaI believe this is why the deal is delaying.Athletico was expecting us to take only costa in exchange for leaving courtois for one year with them, but it seems like we want to keep both. Thus athletico could really be trying to convince costa to stay if they are losing courtois anyway.

RoyalBlues 4,050
The most important thing in here, is that it seems Costa himself want to move. So I think it is just a matter of time until the deal announced.

RoyalBlues 4,050
Or he is ruled out for 2 months after aggravating his hamstring at WC and we end our interest. Most likely it will be announced after WC anyway, unless he didn't make it, the announcement could be done faster. Part of me want to see him play in Brazil, but I would be happy too if he doesn't go, so that he could rest and get a proper treatment for his injury. MrBlueGuy 1,552
Included in final squad, he is going to the WC. Hope he doesn't fuck up his injury even more or we will have to cancel the deal. In 2 weeks technically he should be fully fit anyway.

Costa can face a similar prospect if he pushes himself when he should not. Bad for us.
Waterfall 893
Costa's injury is nowhere near as serious as Torres's. That said, it would certainly be nice if he can fully recover before playing again. Atletico rushed him twice, but then who can blame them

Tomo 21,751
If this is true and I have strong suspicions of the contrary, I would let him go back to Atleti... I only want players who WANT to be here.Drogba initially wasn't keen on coming here and Azpilicueta i think would have stayed at Marseille if they didn't need the money I get your sentiment but if we only signed players who turned up to Cobham acting like a dog on crack our options would be seriously limited. Leti's played a big part off his life, it's natural that he will take time before deciding to leave.

Drogba initially said no until he met with Jose, he had no idea what we were trying to build here.
