BoyBlue96 990
I'm so done with this drama saga and with Costa. What a pussy. Man up, shut your damn mouth and train with the group and be comitted and faithful to Conte who has brought you to this insane form and goalscoring level. What a coward. Ignore the interest until the end of the damn season and leave as a champion (if we win the League). Â But I didn't expect anything else from a guy who turned his back to his motherland Brazil to play for Spain. Don't care he spend the majority of his live in Portugal/Spain, Griezmann has only played in Spain and is still playing for Les Blues. Diego Costa the Elephant man. Could've left as a legend. Id love him just to say theres no way I'm leaving Chelsea in the foprseeable future and theres no truth to the RM links. Â As for Diego I really hope it all blows over. We were so lucky to buy him and hes hardly let us down. Specially this season. It was all going too smooth. With Chinas new rules it seems that the club Mendes was talking to (NOT iitially about Costa he was only brought up in conversation after the media shit. The contracts were drawn up to buy Falcao and Raul Jimenez but have had to be withdrawnr) But Chinas transfer window doesnt cose till Feb 28th so plenty of time for them. So now his options are the 2 Madrid teams. With Simeone only there next season I'm not sure whether he would go there, same reason Eden wouldn't (he will get the call as soon as Simeone knows where hes going) So who knows whats ahead. BlueLyon 9,359
I still think this was more press mistake and blowing up than what realy happend. IMO Costa got offer, which he wouldnt take, but he probably had bust up with Conte because of injury. Thats why he didnt play and trained separately. Media just took whole thing by storm that he didnt train because he wanted to go to China etc and Conte told him to fuck off. And conveniently, now reports that Costa is training again, made deal with Conte, because media would look like fools if they didnt say that, since Conte would train as soon he was fit (and not because he wanted to leave). At least thats my interpretation. Costa might be hothead, and I get it he would return to atletico at some point, but to go midseason to China, when he is in hot form, fan favourite and Chelsea in very good spot to win title? Nah. Character makes him unpredictable, but at same time you know he has bigger motivation than that. Muzchap

I think he got the offer, wanted to go then claimed to have a back injury (Conte probably didn't believe the injury was real) they got into an argument. Costa had to go along with his story of a back injury and now he's "ok" so he joins the first team. Media acutually got this one right.
