Cesc Fàbregas

Cesc isn't a factor in this debate because he's in both teams remember? Anyway this isn't really much a contest, this is easily their best squad since like 03/04. The likes of Ramsey, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Ozil, Sanchez, Cazorla would walk into their past teams.

How is Cesc in both arsenal teams? He was with Arsenal in 2011, but now he isnt there because he plays for us...And they had RVP, Nasri, fit Diaby etc...

Besides Ozil is terrible and I cant see how could Ramsey in this season form play ahead of Cesc, Diaby and Song in 2011, when they were all in good form. Ramsey is overrated as fuck. I thought he got his shit together last season, but in fact it was just exception of good form back then, while now he returned to being average. Clichy was also better than Gibbs, Nasri was better than Cazorla. Their CBs though are better now.

A lot of times he was the only midfielder in our box clearing the ball- if only we had Rammy for all that, and Fabregas can actually focus on helping us get a goal.

Agree but Oscar has been too good to drop, besides Rambo is terrible on the ball.

But Oscar does nothing vs (very) defensive teams time and time again. The only hope is if he can score a long shot, but that doesn't happen very often.

While Fabregas is one of the best flat track bullies around, so let him play higher up the pitch and do his job.

I'm not saying no, I'm just saying Oscar has been very important, but yes Fab is amazing in the attack, and should be played higher up against weaker opposition.

But against Sunderland, that was not the problem, both Oscar and Fab were playing high up the pitch, the problem was the lack of width as we have defensive fullbacks (well, a right back at left back and a centre back at right back)

153.6km - Not only is he the leading assist maker in the PL this season (10); Cesc Fabregas has also run further than anyone else. Engine.

Why I think I will be more worried if we lose Fabregas than Matic..

Mikel can handle the coming game, he is not good going forward but can provide the same stability as Matic.

Cesc on the other hand has been our playmaker, dictates our whole game. He doesn't have a direct replacement, he will be missed very badly.
