I'm not 100% sure but I believe you slated him here before, calling for him to be sold because he is past it, doesn't offer anything and is not up to it physically. If it was not you I apologize. If it was, what made you change your mind? Surely not him having Greenland-sized spaces to pick his passes against 10-men minnows in EL?  Cesc must go either in January or in summer, he is not good enough. But first he must be adequately replaced because Sarri doesn't view anybody else fit to deputize Jorginho. Vesper

But first he must be adequately replaced because Sarri doesn't view anybody else fit to deputize Jorginho. My issue with Cesc was when we tried to force him into the creative AMF role. We have no one to backup Jorginho at DH DMF. Cesc was never a chief target of mine, many more people have said he is simply too slow and leggy to play at all. My main issues was if we tried to play him out of a realistic position. My main targets for OUT OUT OUT are (and will be) Luiz and Willian. They are shit, pure and simple. Alonso is slow and non productive (at least far more than his boosters claim, he has but one bloody goal all year, all comps) but first things first. We also need a striker (that is so obvious it goes without saying) I have listed Cesc as a sale many many times, BUT that was always if we were buying a replacement (which I have listed many). I do not think we are buying shit in January, unfortunately, which, IF the bans come in, will be the partial destruction of the club. manpe

Vybzkartel 284
I would let him go to Milan in January, his a liability anytime he plays for us in the middle, even against farmers

He is going to be a monster. He is so special a talent. Would flourish under Sarri tutelage. He is already on the Italian national first team (who are notorious for NOT picking youth)   Sideshow Luiz, yuvala, Unionjack and 2 others

And even tho the lads done all that he could possibly do to keep fit theres no way to put life back into old legs. Hes still got a wicked pass and I wish he could be able to use it more but I sadly think its time we parted ways. Itrs awful watching a player you like getting slow. Like Mz Vesper says Tonali looks the dogs dangleys and it looks like Barella is too so I think either under Sarri would be good here. kellzfresh

He can not honestly entertain the notion that he deserves to be a regular starter here. Hes simply a spent force, plays like a 40 year old which is no wonder cos he has like 700 top-level games in his legs. Reminds me of the dying days of Schweinsteiger. Really should just end his career or go to tiny league like MLS or CSL Unionjack

Pizy 18,909
Still a hugely useful sub and rotation option for secondary competitions but it's completely understandable that he'd want to leave. When he does play he's still super dangerous when given the space on the ball, but he's somehow even slower than he was in the past couple of years. It would be suicidal to start him against even midtable PL sides these days with our current defense. Would be sad to see him go but he deserves to play somewhere. Hope him leaving doesn't affect the Hazard negotiations somehow. He appears to be his best mate in the team. Probably has to do with the centre-backs doing more long range passing nowadays. anyways, i understand cescs desire to play, albeit i think he is a bit overestimating himself.
