robdog 2,084
Come on his new deal is not 90k a week.It would be a significant pay cut which other teams would be willing to match or even better, while we get a decent fee for him at the same time.agreed. I can see the so-call richest club in West London calling Warnock + Kalou is a match made in heaven
Tomo 21,751
agreed. I can see the so-call richest club in West London calling Warnock + Kalou is a match made in heaven Warnock needs some media training, the way he openly slates his own players in public is cringeworthy, the fact he is considered amoungst the elite English managers just shows how bad our English gaffers are. BlueLion. 21,491
Perhaps he should look at the last 5 years of his career and ask himself that same question again. Excellent point, I thought he was good in patches during his début season and again during 2009/10 he showed some glimpses of quality. Other than that he's done precious little. Decent scoring record but he certainly has had long enough to prove himself, without any real consequence.

Decent scoring record but he certainly has had long enough to prove himself, without any real consequence. The worst part is, he had a lot of potential when he first came. Johan Cryuff even vouched for him.. He wasted his own potential imo. The club's given him a lot of time to show good on that hype he had when we first signed him. Too little, too late from him, it's time to move on.

CHOULO19 24,332
Kalou looking to stay at chelsea: It amazes me how he still considers himself a player for the future.I am by no means a member of the anti-Kalouda committee/propaganda, but I really believe that it is time for Salamon to move on because he has nothing more to add to the club. SW_Blue 71
Not only is he expecting a new contract, but demanding more match time. http://www.premierleague.com/page/Headlines/0,,12306~2487858,00.htmlThe management is either playing a seriously fk*d joke on Kalou, or the fans. laura90 and Shak
Term-X 7,891
It really is frightening how the club seem to be entertaining these 'demands' of his..When will this nightmare end? laura90 and Shak
Tomo 21,751
Everyone loves to bash Kalou, how come Jose never gets stick? he was the one that sold a Chelsea legend (Gudjohnsen) to accomodate Kalou. The day he does leave Chelsea this forum will have a field day i could just picture that now. Ok, so he's had a few bad games, or maybe a few bad seasons. But I really don't understand what he's trying to say here.- I'm a young player - Yeah right, maybe they should send you back to the youth academy then?- Chelsea are looking to have a great future and mine could be here - Maybe you could, but you sure dont deserve it. at least say "I'll work hard to be a part of it"Recently, when Lamps was benched and the media was hounding him, all he had to say was that its tough sometimes and he'll give his best to be right back in the starting XI. And I listen to this guy and he seems to think Chelsea needs him more than he does us.

He also said:“I hope I can play more. I can push myself, train hard, and come in if I have the opportunity and score. The rest is normal. The manager picks the team and every player respects the decision."On a side note, EVERY player (yes even the bad ones), has the right to prove himself worthy of a new contract just like a lot of under-qualified people fight to get jobs...
