Very agree with you brother. And, for 30 million,we could have the best left back in the world like david alaba or jordi alba.

I like ricardo than the others left back. Other choice will be coentrao

Coentrao would probably be significantly cheaper too.

Interesting article. Ricardo tops the list of 'youngsters to watch'

I haven't seen him. Is he THAT good?

I've seen him play a few times now, which started after January when KdB went to Wolfsburg (when I was more skeptical about him because I never really heard about him before), mainly to follow KdB's progress a little, and I must say he's very good. Just seen on WhoScored that he's actually the 5th highest rated player in Europe at the moment, only behind Messi, Suarez, Ronaldo and Ribery. That in itself is amazing.

Could be. He's still young so people need to be patient with him but he's a very tidy player.

What any player like him needs is targets to aim for and that seems to be something we're going to have for the first time in a few years. Plus the fact he can take a free-kick is a nice bonus considering Costa is the most fouled player in La Liga this year and Hazard was the most fouled player in the Premier League - lots of free kicks around the box next season.

He's VERY good. For my money the best young LB in the business. If he is of reasonable price we'd be stupid not to grab him

Are we linked though? I mean I know it's hard to prove, but has there been anything remotely worth getting excited over..?

I'm not sure how reliable Kicker is but they thought we were in for him.

I'm thinking we'll know more after the world cup.

Kicker is alright. Not as reliable as Sky Sports but reliable nonetheless.

If we plan to buy him, then we should do it before WC because in case he does well, the price will go double and Im sure more clubs will be interested...

I think there were rumours about Mou wanting Rodriguez back when he was still in Real and no one realy knew who Rodriguez was, they were saying what will such player do there...look how much Rodriguez improved since and Mou saw sth in him a while ago...now with shaw almost imopossible, I would be surprised if Mou wouldnt go after Ricardo.

Maybe just a thing, Rodriguez doesnt look realy realy fast to me IMO. He is on similar level as Azpi, fast, but not as Shaw, Moreno, Alves, Cole in prime,...and his potential isnt as high as Shaw/Moreno...I can see Shaw and Moreno as one of best LBs if the evolve properly, while Rodriguez is more allround...still atm, he is twice the player than Shaw or Moreno though.

A no-brainer here. Call Wolfsburg, tell them that they can fax you the papers and sign them. You will have the best left-back in the league next season.

Ricardo Rodriguez, Marcelo and Baines are, IMO, the most influential left-backs these days.

Shaw is a great prospect, but this guy is the real deal. You just can't say no to this price tag Wolfsburg has put on him.
