We need to get away from Ivanovic starting, Lampard starting and Hazard should never of been selected ahead of Schurrle.

Ivanovic is so predictable now it's scary, I was calling things before he did them yesterday. His crossing is fucking awful and I really fail to see what he offers us. Lampard starting smacks of the old pals act, at least JT is actually really doing it where as Frank is just not the answer alongside Ramires, it isn't working for fucks sake.

As for Hazard he should of been on the bench and Schurrle starting ahead of him IMO I think Hazard is struggling massively right now.

I don't think all of this is helped by pathetic slow tempo all the time, Jose needs to really do something about this it's becoming a constant theme.

Have you watched Real Madrid against Manchester United in the champion's league last year. Manchester was glad to sit deep and during long spells of the match, Real was just happy to play a slow passing game and waiting game with no real plan to attack their defence.

Mourinho's team.

RDM is not a coach for a big team like we are. and benitez was just an interim, so he clearly didnt give a f about installing a offensive play. look how napoli is playing though...great football.

What? Benitez had clear patterns in our offensive play and I remember some great matches in the last three months with Benitez, at least I was seeing them and a big difference to what we were doing under Di Matteo. And with the handicap of playing every three days, meaning not many trainings and coming in the middle of the season.

In the last three months, we were the best team in the premier league.

I can't get over the fact that despite our inadequacies in midfield, we were in control of the game at 1 - 0, suddenly we concede out of nowhere and all hell breaks loose.

It's almost like last season under Benitez. Well in control of games, leading 2-0 comfortably and then suddenly, concede 1 goal and bam we draw 2-2 in the end!

After the Newcastle game every team will now play a low block against us with two lines of four giving our three AMs no space to operate in ,untill we come up with a plan to beat this it will continue, our movement needs to be sharper and quicker passing ,another thing we are lacking is shooting from distance ,remember how many deflected goals we used to score? a deep defence hinders a goalkeepers view and they can deflect shots past him. What is not the answer is a slower build up in play.

Bloody hell, what are we doing??? we take a lucky lead then proceed to shoot ourselves in the foot again!!

Ivanovich cant cross a ball. It's all well and good getting up and down the line with every attack, but his finishing crosses are bloody abismal. Pick out a bloody player man and FIND him !!!

Also think Lampard is not suited to his deeper role and the game bypassed him, and it's not the first time this season either. Play Luiz alongside Ramires as he's not a centre half, as he can tackle and pick a pass too.

And finally.......Get Torres fit. Even though Eto scored and took his goal well he was anonymous after that. At least Torres put himself about and is a constant thorn in defences side (this season so far) and links the play so much better up front.

If we dont show more passion, hunger, commitment and the desire to win games we will win sod all this season. So com'n you Blues..........LIFT YOUR GAME GUYS.

Look at the positives. Arsenal have not gained ground on us as they lost and a weekend where we could have dropped to sixth place, Spurs and City lost and the better fact is that we still remain fourth :)

Poor performance, some complacency has set in unfortunately, perhaps the international break has come at the right time for a change....

Having managed to get to the Bridge for a change this time season it was very disappointing to witness so many players under performing and the biggest negative was the distinct lack of movement from our attacking players - simply shocking at times, it also doesn't help with the slow pedestrian way we are currently moving the ball and lastly the lack of vision from deeper positions.

That said this weekend could of been a whole lot worse but with Arsenal, City and Spurs losing we gained a point albeit fortuitously, Jose has some work to do but lets be patient peeps please, been a frustrating week with losing to Newcastle but we had a 6 game winning streak previously which many seem to have forgotten already?

Good post fella.
