He said in his press conference that a win at the start of a CL group stage goes a long way, hence such a strong line up with just Van Ginkel and Willian the new faces who will be playing for the first time with the rest of the squad. Pacquiao 1,834 Posted September 18, 2013 Share Posted September 18, 2013 hopefully Van Ginkel can do an Oscar! when he first signed he couldn't get in the team at the start of the season until he was given his chance in the opening game of the CL, he scored 2 great goals past Juve and the rest was history! hopefully Van Ginkel makes a big impact today and keeps his place in the team! Maybe he needs to prove his worth more to Mourinho but he got handed a start in a big game against Everton and Oscar needs playing time as well so no surprise. Mata does not seem as sharp as he could be so not really surprised with him being dropped, especially with the amount of attacking talents we have.
