Basle are no mugs, you saw what they did against United two years back, we can't do to much rotation, the reason for picking Bertrand and not Azpilcueta is that it will be a risk picking two players who haven't played all season (apart from a few minutes at OT for Azpi) so it's boils down to who needs a rest more and imo it's Cole. Save Luiz for Fulham too.

i dont think barry's tackle was irrelevant, it saved the match for everton. but i also dont have any doubts of what the result would have been if WC strikers like cavani, falcao, rvp, aguero, ibra, rooney were in place of etoo.

u can have your opinion, let me have mine. as i said before, i am not going to get burned a third time. not going to expect anything from etoo and whatever he does would simply be add-ons.

Would have liked to see Torres start yesterday..international break came at the wrong time for him after his performance at the super cup..from yesterday's evidence Eto'o still has wonderful striker's instincts,but is slow in reacting to situations and keeps getting muscled off the ball...he was obviously afforded a lot more respect in Russia..
