Maybe they are rejecting the Malcom make weight and want more cash?  I'm really reaching here I know.

Not really.  If it's Malcom + 5M because Barca are trying to say he's worth 45, then I can see why we said no.

what I would tell Barca is simple

6 months ago, you bid £65m for Willian

now you bid £50

that's £15m less

soooooo

you paid £38m (it was actually £37m with the exchange rate then) for Malcom

we will say he is worth £30m now

as that is only reducing him HALF as much as you reduced Willian

you reduced Willians value by £15m, we will reduce Malcom's worth (as he has been a FAIL for you, you cunts cannot say he is worth MORE than what you bloody paid simply because he fucking put on a Barca strip) by only half that ie. £7.5m

so

If Malcom is now worth £30m

and you are saying Willian is worth £50m

give us £20m plus Malcom and DONE DEAL

If anything, we should be stumping up cash AND Willian for Malcolm. Willian is f***ing useless. I’d be disappointed if I was an Everton or West Ham fan and we signed Willian. Newcastle is his level.

Barca is his level!!!!!!

It's funny and all, but dismissing the little information and insight that we, supporters, have into the business does not make much sense to me.

The market is telling us something: we have one of the very top clubs making bids for a player that many here detest.

Maybe, just maybe, he's not such a horrible player? No, he hasn't been effective in the final third, but clubs (and big ones at that) clearly see value in whatever the fuck he does.

I guess you didn't mind Mourinho running Ivanovic to the ground either? How easy would life be for the authorities if nobody ever questioned their decisions...

Agree mate. I reckon we need some anarchy. Take over the boardroom and stage a coup! Bring in all the deadwood and build a bonfire.

We need a complete overhaul from top to bottom.

honestly things would go better if they did look at the forum, supposedly top managers spend years fixing things the forum has been saying all along

There are always the 'appeal to authority' types in every crowd. The status quo, 'big daddy (or mummy, in Marina's case) knows best' defenders.

Same as in other aspects of life. In politics for example,  the despicable neoliberal, utterly faux-liberal/plazzy prog Blairite Labour faction and the Clintonian/Obama 3rd way neolibcon USA Democrats.
