Оnly players who can be sure of their places for me today are:Cech, Ramires, Hazard, Cole and Ivanovich .

will not be a surprise to me that another player to start game...quality in the team is great and Jose has a great selection, I think who will start as a starter depends on his performance in training during the week.

I hope that we will show a good and effective game, the return of Jose
will be hell for Hull and any other team this year.

all I know is that I woke up 2am and I couldn't sleep again (it's now 5)... I have a plane to take soon (8) and the damn countdown seems to mock me.

I've even written an ode in the meantime... if it's too bad it's because the snoring around here is unbearable :lol:

Arsenal vs villa. The second penalty was never a penalty. Koscielny should never have been sent off let alone be given a yellow card. Well his second yellow was debatable but the tAckle he made that conceaded the penalty was clean as! The ref was a nightmare

Been trying to think of what team he'll play and it's nice to see we have so many options again. Last year it became rather sad and predictable when we had about 14 players to choose from, but I think Jose could go in any number of directions.

To be honest, the only players I can think will definitely play are Cech, Cole, Ivanovic and Hazard. You'd expect JT to start as well but beyond that you could make a case for about a dozen or so players to start.

I'm expecting Van Ginkel and Rami to start in the pivot because they've probably been the most impressive midfielders in pre-season, but if Lamps or Essien started I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised. You'd expect Mata to start but De Bruyne and Oscar have both been impressive in a more central role and Juan's had a bit of a disjointed summer because of the rest he needed. On the right wing it could be any one of 3 players, and even Schurrle could pop up there.

Up front I would've said Lukaku all day long about a week ago but I wouldn't be surprised to see Torres in there and I've got this funny feeling he might actually get a couple if he starts. Got to give Hull respect though because promoted teams come into this game used to winning, but you'd expect us to turn them over eventually. Just nice to get back to actually playing matches again.

If I had to take bets on the team that would start, that would be it:

Cech

Ivan - Terry - Cahill - Cole

Ramires - Lamps

Kev - Oscar - Eden

Torres

That's what I think José will bring to the table.

The one position I'm doubtful is Ramires'. I think he could also start with Marco there instead.
