don't want to scare you, but my right back, once, kept on playing for a while, and then finally walked off the pitch, and we thought the same thing. Next morning we'd find out it was indeed cruciate.

Realistically, that's a year-long recovery. Lucas from liverpool returned sooner but only now has been able to reach pre-injury level of performance.

I know many people who tore a cruciate ligament and tried to run around and play after. Obviously they had to stop because the pain was so bad, but it's happened many times

Maybe it differs from one person to another. I said he wouldn't be able to walk because I've had a cruciate ligament injury myself in the past. It wasn't even ruptured and I still couldn't walk on it!

Anyway, wish him a speedy recovery.

Not good news especially how weak our cm area is grrrrrrr . Hope Ake can play for us or is he at that dutch team if not some other young Cfc can get some 1st team experience and maybe accelerate his career. Chalobah im sure was close to being kept this season thats the luck in football. Hope Van.Ginkel comes back to flourish in Chelsea blue for many years to come!!!

This is so sad. Especially in such a meaningless game, which we would have won with a donkey in DM. Maybe we should sign or rather recall someone now. I know numerically we have cover esp with Luiz being able to play there, but I'd rather be not forced to play Kalas at times only because Luiz has to play in midfield.
