Or rather, we didn't defend that at all.On the other hand, it's a good thing. The team and Benitez will surely work on it when preparing for the Man City game.Now we are in the semis, we have to win this competition when we got to this stage. Got the team spot on and it should've been a comfortable win.JT was surprisingly poor against Rondon in the lead-up to their first goal, but that second goal was all about Mikel either being too tactically inept to notice the guy unmarked (even though he looked at him) or too fucking lazy to pick him up. Considering his number of games for the club and his comments in the lead-up, I'm guessing the latter. Just wandered around the pitch, completely disinterested.If only he showed the effort and imagination of those people who constantly defend him, he'd be an absolute worldie.Moses worked hard all night and took his goal well. Rami put in another amazing shift punctuated with moments of supreme class followed by moments of complete ineptitude. JT looked a few games off the pace and Torres continued his good run.But this was a comfortable game made difficult by one uncharacteristic mistake by our captain, and one clusterfuck of a performance by the usual suspect. An absolutely disgraceful showing by John Obi Mikel and if he's got a shred of decency and self-awareness, he'll be embarrassed by what he showed on that pitch tonight. Mikel should fuck off of this team, lazy ass.Lampsy started well, that assist to Torres was top notch.Benayoun, what a great bench player. I admire him.Moses' decision making was shocking, as usual.Ake was ok but too casual at times.Oscar has been disappointing lately.Finally, the refs should be raped. Terry's stars are fading fast.Seriously needs to up his game if he still wants to be the no.1 CB. His famed positional sense & reading of the game was no where to be seen. Torres with his mask on again had a pretty good run out. Moses is slowly becoming somewhat like Kalou. Azpilicueta played his 4th game in 8 days, will be rested surely now! A special mention to the club servant Paolo Ferreira. As jose would put it, another 7/10 performance from him. Also Rafa got the job done, with the trio having a rest.
