I would rather rest Mata against Sparta Prague in midweek than here, where we simply cannot afford to drop anymore silly points in the league if we are to finish in the Top 4.

Agree, league should be a priority. Winning the Europa League will have a bitter taste to it if we fail to qualify for CL next season.

Maybe. Maybe not. But the top priority right now is ensuring we finish in the Top 4 especially given the current circumstances. Europa League(and FA Cup) comes after that.

tbh, we have got to a point where the only competition that truly matters now is getting top 4 and in no way should we use any prem game to rest our best players.

Sparta is definitely worse + the Czech league and the spring period has not started yet so they haven't played a competitive match for a long time which might be a handicap

I am going for a win for us here. We have to start winning soon. We are no longer crap at home and great away as we are just crap atm. But we have the quality.
