He has a goal every 100 minutes this season doesn't he?

If he got a solid run like Torres did in the first half off last season i think he would bring home the bacon, shame he won't even get back to back starts let alone anything more.

90th minute against Southampton when 2-1 up

10th minute against Steaua, we win 1-0

88th and 89th minute against Spurs when 2-0 up and Spurs down to 10, errors from Sandro and Walker

He's got more chance of eating the bacon than bringing it home.

Sealed the deal? Scored a goal in the dying minutes when the game was won is another way of putting it.

Look I get it...Torres is bad (waaahhh!!!!) but Demba Ba isn't now good because of that. The guy is actually a weaker presence up front somehow and really doesn't warrant a start. All this stuff about being a model pro is completely nonsensical in my view. I remember him making a point of going to the gym and posting a picture of himself after Jose said he might be needed....um, why the fuck weren't you already in the gym??

Anyway, his goalscoring record might sound 'good' but if you actually look beyond the stats and actually examine the goals (you know, like we do with Torres and like we should've done before we signed him) then he's really not that good.

Could you stop calling him "not that good" when he hasn't been given 2 starts back to back under Jose? How is he supposed to gain any sort of form/momentum like that?

When he's played, he's not been that good.
