Styles 9,790
Excellent option to keep on the bench as a plan B. Beauty (Eto'o and Torres as the silky forwards), and the Beast (Ba as the lumbering brute).Torres, silky? TORRES?

BlueLion. 21,491
Torres, silky? TORRES? Granted he isn't a Lionel Messi, but he is an excellent dribbler of a football.

BlueLion. 21,491
Ba has scored 2 goals and assisted another in 327 minutes of football - meaning that he contributes a goal every 109 minutes. But when you consider that of those 327 minutes he has only made two starts; and a number of his sub appearances have only been for around about 10-15 minutes, with very little chance of scoring in that period, those stats actually make for relatively impressive reading. You compare that to Eto'o (4 goals, 2 assists) in 724 minutes - a ratio of contributing a goal every 121 mins; and Torres (5 goals, 2 assists) in 811 mins - a ratio of contributing a goal every 116 minutes, he is statistically, therefore, our best striker in terms of getting the ball in the back of the net. johnnythefirst 1,076
Your calculations are a bit off:Ba: every 163 minutesEto'o: 181 minutes.Torres: 162 minutes.;-)

I sourced mine from UEFA.com. And I'm including assists as "contributing a goal to the team".
johnnythefirst 1,076
Well, I just divided the minutes by the goals...327 divided by two is obviously not 109. Someone at UEFA should get a calculator.
Las7 951
You should use transfermarket for these types of calculations since they count minutes in all competitionsThere you go: Torres - Minutes per Goal(166.4); Minutes per Goal/Assist(115)Ba - Minutes per Goal(136); Minutes per Goal/Assist(68)Eto'o - Minutes per Goal(203.25); Minutes per Goal/Assist(90.33)Rooney - Minutes per Goal(143.2); Minutes per Goal/Assist(57.28)RvP - Minutes per Goal(111); Minutes per Goal/Assist(92.5)Kun - Minutes per Goal(80.68); Minutes per Goal/Assist(49.65)Negredo - Minutes per Goal(91.84); Minutes per Goal/Assist(64.82)Giroud - Minutes per Goal(174.4); Minutes per Goal/Assist(116.26)Suarez - Minutes per Goal(89.77); Minutes per Goal/Assist(67.33)Sturridge - Minutes per Goal(108.54); Minutes per Goal/Assist(91.84)Lukaku - Minutes per Goal(109); Minutes per Goal/Assist(96.88)Remy - Minutes per Goal(103); Minutes per Goal/Assist(82.5)Basically Demba Ba is stastically our best striker but that's mainly due to how little he has played and the fact he was able to assist/score coming off the bench as a cameo. While Eto'o finishing hasn't been very good considering he has played quite a bit he was still pretty proactive overall considering the fact that he came to CFC unfit and semi retired. Torres is keeping his usual scoring rate over the last few years and thats mainly due to the weaker group we've had in the CL. Overall - all lack behind in terms of goal scoring compared to the main strikers in our rivals. robsblubot, BlueLion., Kieran. and 1 other

Ryan Fong 2,776
I'm very confused by the myth of his aerial ability. It's evidently Torres won much more headers than him yet a lot of people thought he should start because he is good at aerial battles against Stoke. And what the fuck is going wrong with his knees? They seem like made from cotton. robsblubot
