DoubleO 192
Nice performance by Torres before the red card again. He has found it I think. Being banned for 3 matches is not good, but fortunately he can play in CL and CC.

Sheva. 5,373
Just saw him on the post match interview with Neil on ChelseaTV. Looked composed and confident , spoke about being very thankful for the fans always being on his side from the very beginning even when things weren't going to plan .Would love to see this. C'mon someone upload it already

dodojojo 510
Does that make him a proper West Londoner now?I'm not sure he should have shared that info. You'll have people stalking him from home to the Bridge on game days now. **Hmmm...any deals to London...There are more photos out there. One showing him with his family. Walking to work with the family. How cool is that?Dean obviously saw Nando before the match and the card was for dressing like a 14 year old. He walks to work in his Chelsea trackie and cap

Tortilla9 390
I'm telling you its the hair (longer, lighter) and the new boots. Two games with the new boots, two goals, two other unexplainable moments.

Tortilla9 390
Watched the match on CTV again. Loved one comment from the Chelsea announcer, Ben Andrews, after Torres red card: there must be a voodoo doll of him out there somewhere. At the end they interviewed Cech and Torrres. Cech said a clean sheet would be nice but he'd rather have a 2-1 win than a 0-0 draw. Asked Torres about the red card. Said it was his first in the PL and hopefully his last. Said he tried to pull his leg back but he arrived late and didn't mean to hurt the player or put pressure on the team.Asked about his relationship with the fans. Said its easy for the fans to love and support you when you're doing well. They've been behind him since day 1 and wherever he sees them in the street, cafe, they are supportive. Asked about how he gets to work. Said he's been doing it for a while and he can do it in England and in Spain he'd never be able to. He likes to see the atmosphere but now it might be a little more difficult since people know he walks to work. Doubt he's walking to work when we play Liverpool. DJ Nevin 24
I'm sharing this with every scouser nut job I know.According to the Guardian report, the Torres sending off was announced over the tannoy at half-time during the Wolves Liverpool game. How classy is that? After hanging the player out to dry when he left, the club just don't appear to be able to leave it alone. It seems to be part of the new corporate hierarchy's way of maintaining their popularity. Would be interesting to know what really went on behind the scenes before he left. Tortilla9 390
I don't think we'll ever really know. Scousers are convinced he screwed them over and took the money and run. Some of them seem to think the 50M was paid to him personally. They seem to forget he was the fastest to 50 goals in a LFC shirt. They say they're over him yet they continue to prove they're not. Plus I think where we're seeing positives from Torres in a blue shirt, can they same of Carroll in a red shirt?
Popular Post! Kostas 1,468 Posted September 25, 2011 Popular Post! Share Posted September 25, 2011 Same thing for Meireles. They announced his transfer request an hour before the window closed to show that they had no option. If anyone thought the cheesy little song their share with Celtic meant something before the Torres saga, seeing them burn the kits with the emblem of their own club while the player was still theirs must have convinced any doubters. You'll never walk alone until get ambitious.Despicable club. And while I'm at it, he better start scoring loads of goals because I wasn't able to watch a proper compilation of his goals until Feroze made one. Something felt wrong about being supposed to enjoy watching Liverpool goals. Sheva., Term-X, LDN Blue and 2 others
dodojojo 510
When he left, they kept spouting that Torres would always walk alone. If only they would keep their word. Seriously, if you check some of their boards, they post more about Torres than we do here. The LFC propaganda machine wheedles on.
Sheva. 5,373
"At half-time the Tannoy announced in the kind of gloating manner that was utterly at odds with Liverpool's traditions that Fernando Torres had been sent off at Stamford Bridge. At least Torres had scored, which was more than Andy Carroll was to do" - The quote from the guardian report DJ Nevin was referring to.Can't say i'm surprised, they're still obviously hurt by their messiah leaving them for greener pastures

You don't know what it's like trying to keep being excited about your 50m signing by watching some random goals for Spain and Atletico. The only thing that I kept from his Liverpool days is stats, and I hate stats.
