kellzfresh 7,229
Clearly he is not, for example last nite he took a shot from a ridiculas angle and put in the side net, while torres stood unmarked in the box screaming for the ball for a tap, which would of put us 3-1 up and i'd say safe to see it out. Mata hazard oscar etc are all great players and great passers what they need to be tho, is what we bought them for FUCKING WINGERS WHO PASS TO THE FUCKING STRIKER, not secondary strikers, no glory hunter selfish take a shot and cut inside, PASS THE FUCKING BALL TO TORRES AND GET HIM GOALS. thats why we spent the money.Mata had 20 league assists, highest in the premier league last season. You have to be kidding me if you think mata is not good enough. Torres is just not good enough unless you want chelsea to buy xavi and iniesta in the midfield then i dont know why torres is not scoring. Tomo 21,751
that is why you hear his name sung for dribbling past a player or getting a good shot on target Is that why Frank Lampard's name on a goal announcer also got booed in the MHL because every one thought Torres scored with the overhead kick? Cosmin 2,484
case closed. You look like a 2 years old when you use this expression. And you're avoiding my question.P.S: If you're saying that Mata is not good enough, then you are the one who doesn't understand the game. You're clearly just a Torres fanboy who would support Spuds tomorrow if they would sign him. chelseathebest
Ryan Fong 2,776
He doesn't give a single fuck about Chelsea. I don't see any reason why he should be kept if he doesn't change his attitude.Oh come on Drama Queen.... What attitude particularly may I ask?You can say he is playing shit which I sort of agree, but accuse his attitude and motivation while the fact that you don't know him at all, is quite girly sorry to be blunt. Now, i never said mata wasnt good enough i said he was a great player if you bothered reading or ignoring what i wrote (which i suspect) i said he wasnt good enough if he isnt goin to pass to his striker, which he dosent do all too often, he also hasnt played well since last christmas, bar here and there, before that he was amazing. Also i ignored your question but its retarded and why would i waste my time on it. kellzfresh 7,229
Then you obviously dont watch the same matches, or you could see its because he never gets a ball.He hides behind the defender makin it difficult to pass to him. If he makes runs, it will be easier to give through balls. If he comes back and combines like how mata and hazard combined i am very sure he will have more chances.Like i said in this thread, the only time i saw torres come back and make a run into the box this season was against newcastle, and he scored. He needs more of that especially in big matches. He cant keep having only one shot, i can swear if torres was in oscar's position for the second goal, he wont shoot but will try to dribble and lose the ball. His confidence is just

It's one story to give 100% of effort and still fail but it's another one to be invisible the whole match long. He could've gone off the ground yesterday and nobody would've even noticed he was missing.

If you really think he was just walking around then we shouldn't keep on discussing because clearly we are watching different matches.p.s. Who picked himself up after getting a foul, won the ball back then initiate the second goal for Oscar? Pacquiao and nhaiduy
Kieran. 6,317
I actually think lack of service is still a big problem...That's how he thrived at Liverpool, he's not getting the through balls that suits his style.Well, too bad. Time to move on. Sturridge at CF.

kellzfresh 7,229
Dont get me wrong, the things i listed above are ways for torres to improve his play. If he doesnt then he will never improve and hope on offside goals to improve his goal tally
Hutcho 8,443
torres, just seems to not know what to do with the ball anymore. when we saw a brief glimpse of sturridge, he wanted the ball was confident with the ball and attacked defenders. Torres doesn't have that feeling anymore. I am not going to tell him to fuck off or get injured like some things i have seen, because he is still a chelsea player and he is not trying to play bad, its just whatever he is doing is not working right now. The one thing i would say is that we should definately give sturridge the start as he has earned it. Many of the pundits on tv seems to think he is untouchable and have no one to challenge him but for me danny is much better than him at the moment and when it comes down to it, who will score us more goals... Torres needs to take a seat for a game i think, though unfortunately danny is injured...
