The Skipper 20,609
Gave up on him being our number one striker nearly a season and a half ago - thought he'd produce decently as a squad player which he has been doing in general this season but he needs to stay at that level and not go back down to that horrible poor form of his. Jase 43,479
He should have left on a relative high at the end of last season when he scores vs Benfica and Everton to help achieve our goals (Trophy and 3rd).Oh well, with two strikers coming in next summer (one being Lukaku of course) at worst he will be numero tres next season.Yeah but the problem, as we all know, is finding a buyer willing to pay his ridiculous high wages. We are stuck with him and suffering because of that. Mouri_Matic, Ainsley Harriott and yuvala

Tell him he won't play again and is training with the reserves and he will be gone, i can guarantee it.

Would cause problems alright especially with Roman around...
BleedsBlue 1,549
I say we loan him out to Athletico(we'll have to pay half the wages obviously) with an option to buy after the loan spell. Something just tells me that he'll do well there. Also it'll be nice seeing Villa and Torres playing together again.

Popular Post! Pizy 19,280 Posted December 16, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted December 16, 2013 What's baffling to me when I watch Torres these days is when he receives the ball deeper in midfield and is running at players he's surprisingly elusive and agile. He can dance by a defender or two on his way and it wows you a couple of times a match. On the flip side, whenever he gets the ball in or around the box and tried to run at someone he gives it away immediately. The timid bitch in him comes out and it's like he thinks "oh shit, I'm gonna miss an easy chance" before even attempting a shot. You watch the world class strikers like Agรผero, Suarez, and Falcao when they have the ball in the box and it's like finishing is just effortless and they don't even think about it. It's just instinctual for them. It's how Torres used to be but it's just gone now.I feel sorry for him. As sorry as I can for someone earning tens of millions of ยฃ anyways. He's a good guy and seems humble and is trying his best, but he just doesn't have the special ability anymore. A move to a different league would be highly beneficial to both him and our club. iceboy, Barbara, Thendo and 2 others
