St Abramovich 175
Funny how the media has taken this "hard time at chelsea" quote, while completely ignoring the fact that he was talking about how great the fans have been to him. eldo
Rambo 1,729
Hope he gets a hattrick at Anfield and celebrates in front of the KOP kissing the Chelsea Badge. He already stated that he would never kiss any badge unless its Atletico's. But yes, that would be quite the sight.

termninja 5,290
Sadly he has also made it clear he won't celebrate a goal against Liverpool either Wasn't that for his debut only? I mean Liverpool is now just a club he played for 8 months ago and that treats him like shit now, I can't see the reason why he wouldn't celebrate his goal now. dodojojo 510
Jumping the gun a bit here? Let's hope he gets one against Valencia and stays match sharp for the next month.
Tortilla9 390
Funny how the media has taken this "hard time at chelsea" quote, while completely ignoring the fact that he was talking about how great the fans have been to him.Funny, yet unsurprising. And the English media wonder why he doesn't do print interviews with them. If the clueless wonders had actually watched the entire interview on CTV after the match, he seemed very calm and relaxed. He was very appreciative of the fans and smiled when asked about walking to the Bridge. Take one word out of the entire interview and the media spins it into he was ready to jump off the nearest cliff. eldo
dodojojo 510
Funny how the media has taken this "hard time at chelsea" quote, while completely ignoring the fact that he was talking about how great the fans have been to him. They want to make sure they have Torres admitting he sucked and thus justifying the shit pile they sprang on him. You'll never hear or read another interesting Torres interview again. At least until he leaves England. Pity because he's given some thoughtful and candid (or as candid he can be as a professional footballer) interviews in the past. But now he can't sneeze without the English press jumping down his throat and examining his tonsils.
Fulham Broadway 17,319
Its an indication of how hes gone up in fans estimation by gauging the moans about the three match ban.He seems fired up now and I thought initially a 3 match lay off could make him El Sulko -but as long as he plays in the CL then the momentum is there, and it looks like hes back to the player he once was  Term-X
TomCFC 357
Its an indication of how hes gone up in fans estimation by gauging the moans about the three match ban.Exactly - great point. He's in almost every fan's teamsheet now, compared to even a few weeks ago.

TomCFC 357
Shame he was taken off early again - against a different keeper, some of those attempts would have gone in.

Tortilla9 390
Found it odd that they couldn't manage to stop the laser light(s) that were pointed at Torres. Damn Spanish fans.

LDN Blue 7,903
Very good game from Nando. His rise in confidence is reflected in his accurate shots. Whereas before he couldn't head on target, or dream of a crisp volley, both things are coming to him instinctively now. He's showed, unlike many of us, he's over "that miss" and for him, now, it's about consistency. He's facing 3 games out now, in domestic games, so it's a good chance for him to stay fresh and healthy.
dodojojo 510
If he doesn't get selected for national duties this month, he basically doesn't play for 3 weeks, which is a worry. The bright side is that the chance of an injury is greatly reduced.
Tortilla9 390
If he doesn't get selected for Spain, could he play a game with the reserves? Not sure what I think of it tbh but a little match fitness wouldn't hurt either.
