Lets hope its the case again, just the fact he is Spanish and so Pep sits uneasy with me.

If we get on this speculative level there might also be some enmity cos Pep is a proud catalan.

UEFA have clearly made their intent shown that they want pep to win the CL and I expect this to be refelcted in the ref's performance anyway.

Exactly, that Dortmund match was such horse shit, clear helping hand to pep. The ref will try to fuck us over you'll see

If anything Lahoz will try to mess with City. Guardiola has bad history with him since at Barca.

Really doesnt counts for shit if higher ups would rather favour pep as we saw vs both dortmund and psg

One has nothing to do with the other, they need to maximize revenue more than ever now and pep is it. With a clean ref city should not have gone through dortmund

If one good thing has come out of last night and our season likely going to the wire as a result it will mean we will have peak competitive sharpness heading to Porto whereas City are for all intents and purposes playing friendlies until then.

It's an advantage we really need to make use of.

Bayern basically had half a season of friendlies and a month long layoff and still won the post-season tournament that was called "CL" last year. I doubt this will be a factor at all.

They actually didn't, there was still a chance for Dortmund at the business end last season small but still a chance and in the CL their semi and final opponents were in the same boat.

It's no coincidence the 2019 final was an awful game quality wise after both had three weeks off.

Porto confirmed.

Did not Thiago Silva play for Porto earlier in his career? How fitting would this be, winning the CL at long long last here? The circle closes here.

OK, I just found out he used to play for Porto B, but hey same city haha.
