Against West Brom we lost because Clarkey is a great manager and the strikers missed sitters.

Against Swansea we dropped points because the defensive midfield (Ramires in this case) fucked up.

We need a presence in midfield (instead of Mikel) who works hard for 90 minutes, communicates well and organises the team and gets stuck in. It's probably the most important position in our team because they're the link between defence and attack.

our midfield is good enough dude. if our striker can make use of his chances our midfielders wont be overrun so often. they wont come under so much pressure. i remember in the first 10 mins when rambo almost went thru. he was our first man for fucksake. we expect rambo n mikel to be an awesome shield to the defense, provide those incisive passes to the striker, and also take th onus of scoring or try to do so when our 3 cams are getting bullied. they are dms for a reason. and busquet is a perfect example. he has a role and follows it. the only problem with this team is the striker to take the pressure off other guys.

what is the fucking point of sacking RDM if we are not looking for wins? isn't that what RB was hired to do? win games, get top 4 and get torres scoring.

torres aint scoring, and we are losing matches

That was the problem with Liverpool under Rafa to many draws and losses.Could beat the big times but when it came everyone else they were pretty crap..Torres scoring at the moment needs a miracle espically keeping him scoring.

Today was a shit result.

So was Swansea away.

So was West Brom away.

This problem didn't start with Rafa Benitez, but I don't know if he's capable of solving it.

Mate, we had a dip in form, every club goes through it through a season.

We were flying at the start of the season.

Now everything is fucked up.

We won under Mourinho/Ancelotti/RDM without basically any help from the academy. The problem is that our transfers have been awful and our policy for them have been terrible. We have chased players that don't fit into the system bjust because they are big names or are exciting or whatever. We are spending massive amounts of money to buy players that are highly skilled with no idea how to fit them into the squad. We've spent 80M pounds in the last 2 seasons on 3 offensively-minded #10 players. Why do we need three different players who play the same position? And then leaving the centre of the midfield and our depth at striker completely bare. How can you go into the season with 1 striker even if he were in great form (which he certainly never was). We have a board and owner that's so obsessed with buying skilled offensive players , that that's basically the only thing we ever look for-even in defenders. We don't have a team, we have a collection of players.

Good points, thats why I dont really see the reason for this topic, since everything we are discussing here, are being discussed in similar topics. where are the mods?

I did ask who specifically people wanted out.

But to the rest of your points, yes we won without the academy a few years ago. But we can't spend like that nowadays - the rules won't allow it and it would ruin Roman. We need to become somewhat self-sufficient for the good of the club and the team.

The striker situation is appalling, but they felt they had to see if their £50 million investment could pay off. They had to give him every chance (in their view) because to write £50 million off without exhausting every possibility just isn't good business. I don't necessarily agree with the number of chances he's been given and I think it's now conclusive.

The signings of Mata, Hazard and Oscar aren't as nonsensical as you're making out. Did we go overboard with signing 'creative' players? Maybe. But it's been an area we (the supporters) have been moaning about for years.

My view is that the problems we have now are the result of short-sighted thinking almost a decade ago. Now we're actually trying to run the club as a football club but the gap between the old players going and the new ones coming through is taking too long and we're seeing the results of it on the pitch.

Your assessment of our defensive signings makes a little sense when you talk about Luiz (who needs selling) but Cahill and Azpilicueta have been good, cheap signings. The young players we've bought in and loaned out seem to all be heading in the right direction.

So that's why I asked the question about WHO people want sacking because I'm not sure how much they are to blame for what is happening right now.

honestly? i cant think of a reason not to sack him. its not like he did something bad, its just that he's not needed for Chelsea in this situation. my point is, who gives a fuck...

I can think of one VERY good reason:

We sack ANOTHER manager after only 7 days of being in charge. Our club would be a compelte laughing stock. Could you ever imagine any other manager taking charge after we had sacked our previous manager after 7 days?

Cant agree more. We have 23 players, but half of them is missing something vital to our team.

Rambo has energy but lacks touch, Mikel has strenght but lacks pace and stamina, Mazacar has creatuvity, but lacks balance, finishing and game-changing decisions, we have no striker,...

Our DM should be both fast and skilled in defending, but we have to play with two DMs to do that (Rambo and Mikel). And there is no space for a creative CM in double pivot. We should play with wingers and some strenght and crossing in middle to powerful striker.

Personaly, despite how great Oscar signing was, he is not the kind of player we needed (CM or winger).

Board should stop looking after talented young players, but after players we NEED. With long term manager with full support and trust, we would have much better team now.

Every time this piece of shit is asked about chances that Torres has missed, he answers by saying the entire squad missed chances. Well here you are, when you don't address an issue like your main striker playing like shit, things are going to go wrong.
