I wish I could be as diplomatic as you but I can't. Usually I try to make sense of everything but this has just pissed me off too much. I don't want this man as our manager. The sooner he is out the better. If we have to take a hit for Roman to see some sense I am all for it. You don't treat a legend like Di Matteo like this and expect the fans to be happy. And then to rub salt into an open wound by appointing this prick just smacks of Roman and the board not giving a shit about what the fans think.

I dislike this man and want him to fail badly.

Trust me, I know exactly where you're coming from. I would've taken Steve Kean over the fat waiter but I can't be bothered to spend the next 7 months hating the guy who will run the team.

I basically want this season over. I don't particularly want to win any trophies or pull up any trees. If we could not win another game all season and finish third, I'd take it. I don't want Rafa Benitez's name in Chelsea's history books anymore than it has to be.

But I do want us to look pretty for the next guy. I do want Hazard, Mata and Oscar to be around. I do want Josh, De bruyne and Chalobah to come back and learn from a great manager. I do want Islam Feruz and Nathan Ake to make their debuts against some shithouse European team in the group stages of the Champions League.

And if that means I've got to hope that a guy I despised 24 hours ago succeeds in his job, then I'm going to do that.

i share your feelings, but we simply can´t afford that. we have to do well because otherwise this well be the situation we will look back to like Leeds fans do today.

for me personally it will be hard to get worked up about anything concerning him. he better stay out of the media, keeps his head down and let oscar do the magic. this season will all be about the team and not so much about the club for me.

Talking about 'faces of Chelsea', I don't think there are many better than Mata at the moment. The man is class personified.

He was the first to speak out after Di Matteo left and he's doing the same here. The fact that he's articulate is simply a bonus.

THIS is the person I'll be supporting on Sunday, not some temporary manager. I know when I think about Chelsea, he's who I think about and no tosser in the editing department at Sky is going to change that.

The way I see it, wanting Benitez to fail is wanting the team to fail. He's the manager until at least the summer, we as fans have to (reluctantly) accept it. He was hardly anyone's first choice of manager (and that's putting it lightly), but it's the way it is. Complaining and booing him won't get the team winning games.

So Roman and the board force RDM to use Torres...even though he never suited our style of play...and then, RDM gets the sack for not being able to bring the best out of Torres.

So basically, Benitez will want to see what Torres is still capable of, Torres will score 2 or 3 goals, the board will think he's back, we won't buy a new striker in January, Torres will continue to fail, Benitez will get sacked, the new manager will want to see if El Fiasco can still produce etc.
