He wanted to go on loan and the board/Mou didn't do it. Playing on the U21 squad is pointless.

I'm in the fire Mourinho camp as well and this is one of the main reasons. He shows next to patience for young players or anyone who isn't his favorite and shows way too much patience for those who are playing horribly.

i wouldn't do that. boga , who is even better than musonda (imo) , only gets 20min cameos for rennes. I don't trust any club other than vitesse to develop our players. Play them or sell them. A bad loan can ruin careers , and it's often due to a lack of opportunity rather than ability.

Well Vitesse and Middlesborough (probably wrote it wrong) are the ones to trust right now. Boga is also playing more and more and the season isn't over by a long shot. Musonda to Vitesse in january or next season!

Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda should seek a transfer away from the club, according to his own father.

The Belgian is a highly regarded prospect, but looks some way away from breaking into the Blues first-team due to intense competition for places at Stamford Bridge.

Musonda Snr insists his son should take up offers to move, and that he could join a big club.

Christensen, Loftus-Cheek, Solanke, that's the spine of a team. Musonda and Boga as potential difference makers. There's even a chance the likes of Baker, Colkett etc. could become squad player level or better. They can't all make it, that never happens, but you'd think three or four could.

But don't blame the manager, blame the club. They knew who they appointed. Him not playing Musonda and him saying RLC would play to then not follow through was to expected (he's a demagogue). He already said Chelsea's not the environment for young players, alluding to those still raw in terms of development.

The whole idea of producing the future stars of Chelsea at Cobham was either put on hold or scrapped all together. Same thing really.
