Serious Question, do you guys think Azpi is the best defender in the world?

I fume everytime someone describes him as "solid", to me he is MUCH more than solid, he is an absolute monster of a defender who puts in world class performances every. fucking. game. and yet, no one ever recognises him as one of the best defenders in the world and he never gets on the TOTS or even TOTW! i just wish he got more recognition for the amazing player that he is

I can't think of anyone more deserving of leading the team out onto the pitch every weekend. He HAS to get the armband.

He is easily (for me) as good as Phillip Lahm was in his prime and Lahm was World Class if not the best RB in the world. So yes, for me Azpi is one of, if not the best RB in the World right now.

I think he is not only the best RB in the world, he is the best DEFENDER out of every position CB, LB ,RB.

you can put him wherever you want on your backline and he will instantly become your best defender,his performance today was just.... jaw dropping, it really pissed me off when not a single commentator praised him during the match. Its like they dont even see he is on the fucking pitch

Unfortunately I could not watch the match but I know from previous that Azpi never gets the prais he deserves from commentators.
