He has been pretty bad the last two games. His first bad patch in god knows how long. Guess even the super consistent can have a spell.

No doubt he will get back to his best in no time. Best one on one defender in the league.

Think you might have over-exaggerated with 'pretty bad' there but do agree with your general point. He has looked that tiny bit dodgy in certain moments in the last 2 games, making some poor plays - offensively or defensively - that you don't normally see him do. Hope it's nothing permanent about that!

No exaggeration but I think he is up there with De Bruyne for the best crossers in the league. His accuracy at finding his man is brilliant. That is 2 assists for Morata this season which should of been 3 if Morata scored from Azpi cross against Spurs which should of been in the back of the net. He done a few last season but Costa's movement and aerial ability compared to Morata is not comparable. He scored a great header against Palace at Selhurst from a brilliant cross from Azpi but was no way near as effective in the air. Man, Azpi should be leading the assists charts. He is joint anyway. If he can keep, providing those crosses for Morata, he will add to his assists chart and Morata will continue scoring headed goals :cig:

Azpi + Morata might be the new Fabregas + Costa

I don't know what Azpi's cross completion rate is but some of our noteworthy goals in recent years have come from his crosses - Torres against Villa, Hazard at West Brom, Costa at Palace, Morata against Everton and at Leicester, Alonso against Boro.
