Sturridge scored more goals than drogba and torres last season. Id rather have someone upfront who scores goals, rather than pat Torres' head and hoping he gets a LUCKY goal.

That last chance in the 88th for Torres could have very very easily gone in, if it had it could have very easily ignited him. RDM agrees with me. Sturridge will never be a 40 goal a season striker. Fact.

We got the job done at the end, but we shouldn't get complacent though. There is a lot of room for improvement.

If we had been up against a competent strike force and not useless wankers like Di Santo and Gomez we could have conceded 4 or 5.

You are a spastic Torres has had one season with over 25 goals in all competitions. No one thinks Sturridge is going to be a 40 goal striker - but I strongly believe if he gets as much time on the pitch as Torres this season he would outscore Nando by a good margin.
