Who has achieved more at domestic club level? Oscar

who has achieved more in Europe? Oscar

Who has achieved more on the International stage? Oscar

but both are apparently on the same level.

That doesn't mean much to me. Oscar isn't a one man team. I'm purely looking at both talents and yes, they are on the same level to me at the moment.

Well Oscar is at a better club...

I would not be surprised to see Coutinho make a move to a bigger club in the future.

Which bigger club? He's not making it into the XI of any of the top 4 teams in the EPL and surely you don't mean a club the likes of Madrid, Barca and Bayern. PSG maybe?

So I'm curious, what bigger club XI do you imagine he'd walk into?

being a level below Oscar doesn't mean you are no good. don't put words in peoples mouths. just an idea.

well it does, because oscar is useless for half the campaign. based on the last 3 seasons

I was thinking the same thing, maybe United. But pool wouldn't sell to them.

I think Pool is Coutinho level, he is where he should be.

Edit: so he is out against Everon? If so hope RLC is given a rare start.

Tbf, he said in the future. And he didn't say he'd walk into any of their first XI's.

Any player that has a great first touch and can dribble, pass and shoot at a high level (coupled with pace and quick feet) has the tools to become a great player. It takes just one outstanding season and Coutinho becomes a wanted man.

What is with this secrecy regarding Oscar's condition? Come out and say how long he'll be out for already.

Might not be as fortunate with player fitness this season btw. Apart from the injuries, players have been looking sluggish.

well they both play for the same national team, and being at a bigger club is a horrible excuse, people at smaller clubs then Liverpool have achieved more then Coutinho like Koke, Vitolo, Bacca, Hamsik and Reus to name a few.

The excuses for Coutinho are getting more and more pathetic, and Coutinho simply isn't good enough to play for any of the big clubs. He is a Europa League standard player.

That is rubbish, I am sorry. Coutinho of the second half of the season was fantastic. It is not his fault he was playing with average players who could not finish. Sturridge was injured for majority of last season and he was playing with dead wood like Lambert. Of course it is going to be difficult. He had so many quality games last season. I can't believe why you don't think he is good enough to play for a major club.

The 'bigger club' statement is not a horrible excuse. When you are playing with much better players you will excel. Look at Sterling. He looks home at City and when he was playing with Sturridge and Suarez he looked much better. When he played without them like last season, he failed to impress as much. Like you, I never use to be a fan of Coutinho but I watched him last season and bar the begging stages of the season he improved his game to another level and I think he is an excellent player.

I remeber people said the same thing about Sterling. Because he was average by his standards last season at Liverpool, people were saying he would struggle to be a regular starter at a better team. Now look. He is a permanent starter at City and Coutinho was much better than him last season. That is why I said in the future. I can actually see Real going for him if he manages to be consistent. And tbh I would have Coutinho in our team.

It is easy to say he will not get into big clubs. Look at Douglas Costa. If you said last season he would be a regular in Bayern's team or even get anyway near you would have laughed now he starts every game and even when Ribery is back he is likely to keep his place because of his form.
