I used to like the idea of Chelsea selling him for good money since other players, average ones, go for exorbitant prices. But now I've cooled myself down, don't care anymore, just waiting for someone to make a bid, any bid, close the deal so we can say it's finally over. Absolute dross, needs to leave asap, four years lost by the club (plus another super player in De Bruyne sold) trying to make this donkey a focal point in our team. Enough is enough.

Words are harsh but the club makes abysmal decisions that test the fans' patience. They sell the good players quick for a small profit (De Bruyne, Lukaku) and the average ones are kept long term hoping that they'll improve. They're kept long enough until the fans start really disliking them. People would be much more vocal on here about Mikel if he wasn't a bench player because he's been too long at the club for what he offers. We have a weird philsophy and I don't really know who to point the finger at because we never know he is actually making these stupid decisions. Was it the manager, the director of football, the owner etc no one knows.

You are literally mentioning the few times that has happened and acting like we make a habit of selling great players and keeping average one's.

What about the world class players that formed our squad for a decade? Or the crap that the club swiftly moved on a year/window later?

I am frustrated beyond belief whenever I watch this guy play for us. His had too many chances to prove his hype since he scored that goal against Juventus but failed so hard. Must be sold. He is a cancer to the success of this club.
