BlueLyon 9,359
I like this players but you dont see many so frustrating teams as brasilian. Thiago cost Psg 40mio, Neymar rated at 60. From Neymars performance today he is most overrated footballer in the world. 60mio for failed passes dribbles shots and dozen dives...Oscar wasnt best either but he did try. Still, he should score the goal and that could mentaly kill him. this medal was realy huge for brasil and he missed equaliser sitter. Hulk was actualy quite good in this match compared to other team mates. It sure was karma for all those brasil kids who thought they won already two days ago...And that is why nowdays brasil team cant get anywhere. At big stage they fall apart always. I hope Oscar will come good, but question is if Menezes will stay as coach. If he wont, the new one might favorize older players like Kaka and Oscar will quick become bench man along few others... BleedsBlue 1,549
Oscar had a terrific tournament and I am glad we signed him. Madmax
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
He had a pretty good tournament which will outway the miss. It's not like Brazil didn't have much of the ball or something and Oscar's header was their only chance. That will mean the miss won't be that big a deal. Plus it was a header. We're not buying him for that. ManUre fans though will be the ONLY ones who could even possibly defend that Garbage Rafael. Horrible defender. I hope he's their starting RB because Mata/Hazard will rip him apart. Hutcho
diskoviolente 425
Come on, let´s not be overdramatic here. Yes, It was a big chance in the end , but not a bad miss, given that it wasn´t the winner and that he is not the strongest header. He is only 20, it´s not like we signed a 28 year old whos chances are numbered. He won´t be in complete turmoil, he´s a pro and will play for new oppertunities to win trophies. So, let´s not write him off just now.
BlueLyon 9,359
I dont want to be rude or disrespectfull to Oscar, but from neutral position everyone would say he fucked up the game...Some players get realy realy bad after such things (too many expectations and hopes) and such miss causes major blow, while other get stronger and become even better. Hope its the last, but he will need very good performance at chelsea to re-gain his confidence.
AfricanBlue 104
It was a tougher chance then it looked though he'll have expected to score. Hope he doesn't feel to down about it, I thought he was one of the players of the tournament overall. We need to be sensitive towards United fans right now, they are still going through an existential crisis since Lucas picked a french side over them and they have a first choice right back that can't defend, has an attitude problem, and picks up injuries like Rooney picks up prostitutes and Anderson picks up pies. BleedsBlue 1,549
Rafael is an embarrassment, I'm sure the Brazilian media are going to destroy him for his performance.Only Man united fans think he's good, sort of like Chicharito who can only score tap ins.His quarrel with Juan was so hysterical. Duppy Conqueror 1,537
Disappointed for him especially after that miss, would've preferred that he joined Chelsea on a high note after winning his nation's first Olympic gold but now he must be devastated. Let's hope he can stay strong and move on quickly.he`s joining up with a team that can defend now. that`s gotta lift his spirits. he`ll be down for a bit no doubt but that`ll soon change once he`s played a few games for us. KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
He won't be THAT down. He is not the reason Brazil lost like some of you are making out FFS... Rafeal, Nerves, Errors and a great Mexican performance is why they Lost.

TacticalBlues 2,817
Yes Oscar will be down for a little while but who wouldn't? I'd be more worried if he wasn't. The whole Brasil team will be down and he is one of the players who can leave with his head held high from the tournament (unlike Rafael who has left in disgrace). fAnta
JDY 1,290
FourFourTom @FourFourTomIt's a big shame that Oscar's reputation will be tainted by that miss in injury time. He's had a fantastic tournament.By rival fans of course, sad but true. xPetrCechx and Bir_CFC
The Big Drog 1,110
Great, so we have a bitterly disappointed player returning to the club mentally fucked. This is a blow for Brazil in general, on the eve of the world cup 2014, shambles..That's a bit extreme mate. It depends on the mentality of the player and given the incredible off the field difficulties Oscar has had to deal with just to play I'd say he is mentally strong enough to overcome this. AfricanBlue 104
Off topic but whats with giving the medal winners flowers? Was that a greek thing or something because I thought they just did laurels, granted I'm basing that on Asterix at the Olympic games. fAnta 107
I'm very disappointed, expected more from everyone but am more angry at the defense and especially Rafael. The game plan was all wrong. It is a bitter taste but we will forgive the likes of oscar, damiao and neymar etc but can't forgive rafael at all.

Sure they probably had a laugh but they have enough common sense to realise that miss means nothing and he is a very good player.
Madmax 9,219
To say we won't see the best of him at Chelsea because of what happened today is a bit fantastical, to say the least. These guys are professionals, they know how to deal with these ups and downs. What is a big deal for those of us on the outside is pretty much par for the course for these guys who live the game every single day. It doesn't faze them. Of course it will hurt him and the others but that's no more or no less than what a professional player goes through ona routine basis. He's not going to turn into some mumbling zombie who fails to recover from the blow of losing in an under-age tournament, in which he was quite excellent up until the final day, incidentally. diskoviolente and Peace.
Justin_3d 1,140
Weak mentality, him and his whole team.Being a superior team, superior players you should win this. But as we seen in the season with Chelsea, you need the mental strengthen and togetherness to help you achieve great thing as a unit cause this is a team sport. And Mexico was by far the best balanced, and in sync team of the Olympics.
