BleedsBlue 1,549
I don't know if it is just me but I am quite surprised by Oscar's development at this club. When I first read rumours about signing him, I never expected him to to adapt so quickly. At that time I thought the best case scenario would be a loan or two somewhere and then maybe he would make it.It just amazes me to see him be one of our most important players. He's only 23 years old and has accomplished so much with us. His work rate and talent is truly admirable and I am glad that he's a Chelsea player. I was against the signing because I thought we were completely over-paying for him and he is too "light-weight" for the PL! kellzfresh
bluesman2610 1,417
Was very good in the first half.. And that pass for the first goal was brilliant adding traditional #10 stats to his game

Popular Post! Barbara 15,149 Posted November 22, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted November 22, 2014 Great match by Oscar. He's been maturing so quickly these days (I mean his game). He's been improving his vision and passing drastically over the last few weeks and here is hoping he carries it on throughout the whole season. In that DM article Mourinho claimed he reached new levels personality wise as well as technically, so maybe fatherhood helped and he put the anxiety about being a daddy, playing a WC at home, proving his value to Mourinho and everything else behind him.The fire proof is coming as winter comes, but I feel like he grew a lot compared to last season and he seems more composed, more confident and more daring. The assist to Costa was fabulous (Fab style actually) and there had been a couple other passes that were simply magnificent, showing great vision, creativity, precision and touch. Hopefully he keeps improving. If he does (and I can't talk about his ceiling because sometimes it feels like it's so high and in others like it's not far away), with Hazard also being magnificent, I think whoever we have in the RW simply won't matter much. Those two at their best can produce some magic - although through completely different styles. CHOULO19 24,332
My MOTM today. I thought he controlled the stings in midfield to perfection, especially in the first half, and his vision and crossing were something else. That would-be assist for Matic at the start of the second half was Pirlo-esque, absolute world-class. Muzchap

stroey 2,525
Great improvement this season, Cesc's addition has brought out the best out of him and Hazard. Less pressure, more pleasure. He plays like a connector/linking player, helps everywhere where needed.Something I still don't like about him are his nonchalant backheels/backheel shots. He tries it too often whenever he has an OK/good game, he should stay focused and down to earth. For example, yesterday he could easily pass to Willian but he chose to do a backheel shot. Just keep it simple and kill the game, you can do this when we're 4/5-0 up.
Gilvorak 3,734
Hazard has his Rabonas, Oscar has his backheels. Can't take that away from him, he'll eventually score one of those one day and it will be glorious.

DYC. 7,542
Oscar rocks. Brilliant both on and off the ball, offensively and defensively. His movement in particular today was incredible. Don't know how long he'll keep this up but I hope the movement will always be like this. He's a complete menace because of it. Barbara 15,149
what I realized is that lately he's been passing faster. Not at all instances, but in the attack many times he passed in the first touch or quickly after it.That's vital for the pace of Premier League and it helps us to keep the fluidity going and make us more dangerous.I'm loving all the progress he's been making in such a little span of time. It seems like he's progressing steadily in all areas of his game this season. Blue Armour, Laugh1ngMan, kellzfresh and 1 other

Barbara 15,149
If only Willian would make up his mind as quickly..or just choose better, even if he takes a tad long. He had a great match, no question about it, but it still showed at least 50% of the time his decision making in the third final is terrible, but you're right, he's also indecisive about what to do and that many times messes up with the decision.Hopefully he'll get there, I really like Willian, despite all the frustration that comes with him.He has immense flair and ball control though.
