Just because we signed a kid from Ligue Deux does not make him a poor player. May I remind you we discovered Lasana Diarra from a second division French side; le Havre.

I know the transfer fee isn't huge and he isn't a massive name. It doesn't have to be. This is an investment, to compliment our youth team. Give him time.

Imagine if Eden becomes a flop, he impresses and then takes his brother's place...

Oh the joy on those sour grapes' faces would be unbearable!

Then again, I have faith in Eden that he will succeed here, provided we give time and not put so much pressure on him!
