Daniel Sturridge

Still, the evidence is that Chelsea (coaches and whoever the manager is) don't think Sturridge is good enough. We can either trust they have more information than we do (I tend to be in this group), or we can think they are wrong based on the little information we have.

Another piece of evidence we have is the very low price of the transfer; considering his age, status, nationality, he should be in the 20m+. Also, did any club, other than Liverpool consider a move for him? Isn't that strange?

Lol, Sturridge would never have gone for 20m+. Do you rate him that highly then?

That is like saying because Liverpool were interested in Suarez he's a bad player.

Fuck Chelsea for treating Danny like they have, putting all their faith in Torres and finally selling him.

And i seriousley dont give a fucking crap if danny was the biggest asshole in the world, had the worst attitude and whatnot (which he wasnt), he still would have done at least twice as good as Torres upfront.

Pure fucking madness.

So you are saying Carroll is more skillful and more English than Sturridge? How much was Carroll, 25m?

It's all about the number of top clubs and the available national pool, which is quite limited for English clubs.

Never really liked his attitude and his finishing was just ok. I can almost guarantee he will score against us a number of times though. It always happens.

Oh well, Good luck warming the bench at liverpool. The way Suarez is playing, you can pretty much say he just swapped London for Liverpool and Blue for Red. Thats all. He will never be considered as a player to spearhead an attack.

Why would you want that?

You realise the guy we bought to replace him scored twice yesterday against Premier League opposition?

I do, and I'm not saying Ba was not a good buy. I just thought Sturridge could've been given a proper chance. He was mismanaged through the entire season and the board showed no faith in him whatsoever.

a 23 year old, really good prospect starts just 2 matches and a couple other subs as a 2nd striker for half a season while another player who was underperforming was continued to be given time, so let this be a lesson to our board never to do that again and to show some trust in our youngsters.
