Getting a bit pissed now with his constant trash talkin abt CFC, i know he was not given a chance but move on, its like every interview he gives he wants to rub it in

It's the Liverpool propaganda/hype machine, ignore it.

Sturridge believes that he can score 20 goals a season if given a proper run in the team.

Just reached 20 goals in a season for Liverpool

23 Matches(2 substitute appearances); 20 goals; 9 assists; a goal every 92 minutes; Involved in goal every 63 minutes

If only. If only he was actually given a proper run in.

He would have been up for golden boot had it not been for injuries.

It wasn't the most reliable hence why I didn't link it but apparently hes keen on trying to get into a bigger club

Nah I doubt it. Sturridge is in the 'elite' of Liverpool players and now they've got CL football he won't look to move on. He's one of those guys who needs an arm around the shoulder and kept being told he's the man, Rogers will continuously offer that. City & United aren't looking for a striker, Arsenal aren't an upgrade either. Madrid & Barca aren't going to be looking yet either.

As it stands, Liverpool is his ceiling for now.

Sturridge would have been an amazing second option. And he's homegrown.

He's a great striker now, look what regular playtime does to you. His game has improved so much since he moved to Liverpool

The difference here is one simple thing, he like Lukaku won't have being a second option, they want to be the main man starting or being in a front two.

Remy knows he comes here to fight, he knows who starts 9 times out of 10 and whilst he may not be as good as Sturridge (open for debate) he's a step up in quality from Torres and wants to fight for it.
